part 3 : watching you

The man puts his hands in his trouser pockets and watches as they drive away.
Then he turns around swiftly.
His eyes were orange.
"Are you okay" he asks. He must of read your expression. He shakes his head, they go a blue colour. You must of seen something.
"Did your eyes just-" you start.
"Sun probably caught your eyes wrong" he smiles gently.
"Thank you" you say quietly, he was stood a couple metres away. "No problem" he says, something felt off about him. How did he get here so fast? Was he following us?
"I was just walking this way, to my home, and then saw that and had to break it up"
You nod. That makes more sense.
"I'm glad you did" you say, wiping your face. You start walking and he walks besides you. He was really good looking, and very tall. He kept his eyes on you.
"What's your name?"
He takes a minute.
"Bill" he nods, smiling slightly again.
"I'm y/n" you smile.
"Nice name" he smiles.
"Thank you"

You had walked to the bridge and then he had to go, because be lived down the road before the bridge. But that makes more sense. You had walked in silence for a few minutes, the entire time you walked he was watching you.
