The Last Stand

Chapter 5

*Tony's POV (WHHAAA What is this new devilry?)*

Pissed was an understatement of how I felt. 

Audry had came back....and no one bothered to tell me!

After the new pizzas had arrived and after they were devoured, everyone went their seperate ways. Kind of.

Natasha and Clint had went to go train. The new people, Jake and....uh...John went somewhere. Peter had taken Audry on a tour of the base. Thor was somewhere in space, doing....intergalactic stuff, and Bruce and Steve made their way to the lab, which was where I was headed.

Although, I don't know why Capsicle went to the lab. He didn't strike me as a science-y person. He barely knew how to work a phone, for god's sake.

Also, I had to talk to Steve about this whole Audry thing, because the last time I checked....she was dead.

Well.....actually, Fury didn't have any proof if she had actually died or not. 

't get me wrong, I love that Audry is back. 

I love her, of course not like that, but as a daughter or a little sister. 

When we thought she had died, the news wasn't taken well. 

Everyone had a hard time, of course Peter taking it the hardest. No one wanted to do anything for the next couple of days, until Nataha cursed all of us out.

She said, and I quote, 

"If Audry were here, she would kick all of our asses for sitting on them!" She also said a few words in Russian, which no one, except for Clint, understood.

Needless to say, we all got our acts together really quick.

 Making it to the lab, I walked in to find Steve holding a phone less than two inches from his face, squinting his eyes. It was obvious that he didn't know what he was doing, and that Bruce was helping him.

It didn't look like they were getting anywhere.

"Okay! You can figure out the world of technolog later, but right now...care to explain how a friend came back from the dead?" I exclaimed, plucking the phone out of his hand.

He looked up at me in annoyance, which is the usual look I recieve from him 99.9% of the time.

" I can tell you that." We all looked towards the door, where Fury walked in, Natasha, Thor, and Clint following him.

"We found her 3 miles from the barn, on the brink of death. Before you all went to battle Amas, we recieved a threat from the three villains that we showed you earlier." Everyone  seemed to lean forward in anticipation of what he was about to say.

Before he could continue, the doors burst open, and in came a very.....pissed off Lena. 

You could obviously tell that she was pissed, judging by her facial expression....but as her gaze landed on Fury, you could almost see the smoke coming out of her ears.

Oh, wait. She controls fire. I bet she was really heated up, you get it? No? Okay.

"You lied to us. You said Audry was dead!" She yelled, walking hastily towards Fury.

Steve, along with everyone else, could sense what she was about to do.

"Lena...." Steve cautiously said. He jumped forward , just in time to catch her around her waist, preventing her from swinging at Fury.

"You bastard. You lied to us. You said she was dead. That you didn't see any proof...." Her voice cracked as she fell against Steve.

"I'm fully aware of what I said." Nick began, but I interrupted him.
