"What do you mean they weren't in control of their bodies?" Fury asked for the... 10th time.

You could hear everyone's groans through out the room.

I sighed, and put my head in my hand.

"You know...for a director of one of the world's top secret agency's... you're really not that—" Jake started, but I cut him off.

"You probably shouldn't insult the primary protector of the free world...he has guns.Big.....guns."

"Really? Does he have a shooter's permit?" He scoffed.

"If you permit me, I'll continue to finish what I was saying. Or, I can show you where we kept Loki on his last 'visit'. We have magazines...powerful men ask for them." Fury retaliated. That made Jake shut his mouth, for the time being.

"Carrying on, yes. The citizens seemed to have no idea of what they were doing." Steve said, setting his shield on the table with a clang.

I reached forward and touched it, trying to pick it up.

Steve, sensing my struggle, leaned forward and effortlessly picked it up, handing it to me.

"Thanks. Uh...Steve. What is your shield made out of?" I questioned, examining the heavy object in my hands.

He looked around, curiosity on his face, before answering.

"It's made out of Vibranium. Why?" I kept silent for a while, thinking.

"Bruce....is there anything that can possibly destroy Vibranium?" I looked up at him as he looked at me, warily.

"Uh....nothing can destroy Vibranium. It's so rare, it's not even on the Periodic Table." He explained, taking off his glasses.

"You can destroy anything. We'll have to do more research." Upon seeing him rub his eyes in a tired way, I quickly spoke again.

"But! You can take a break. You too, Tony. I'll do the research and come to you with it." Tony looked at me with an eyebrow raised.

"You're not doing all the fun stuff by yourself. Selfish." He said, making me grin.

"Okay. I'll go start now." I stood up, picking up the shield. Well...trying to.

"Um... Can someone help me?" I asked, looking around the table.

Before anyone could speak up, Peter stood, hurrying to my side.

"Let's go." I spoke, picking up one side of the shield.

"I'll be on my way. After I get something to eat. Jesus....Where does a guy get some food around here?" Tony spoke, standing up.
