*Anonymous POV*
"I suggest you start talking now. My ride leaves in an hour, and I still have to get there." A giggle rang through the room, making me cringe in disgust.
"Patience, my friend. All good come to those who wait." That one sentence made my blood boil even more, adding to the fury of seeing this cruel and vile human being's face.
"One, I'm not your friend. And two, I've waited over a year, and you still haven't given me any information I care about." When they turned around, I was met with the same evil, emotionless blue eyes that I've seen for the last few years.
"I think information about your dear sister can be shared if you have what I need. But, first, please sit down." She motioned to the chair in front of the desk, on which her hands rested.
The words left my mouth before I could think about the consequence.
"Look, you tell me where she is, or so help me I'll-"
"Or you'll what? Don't forget, that I'm the one who decides if you and your sister live or die. Now, I just want this to be a regular meeting. So please, sit down."
The reality of that hit me hard, even though I was already aware.
As I sat down, she continued to look at me, grinning triumphantly. That made the urge to kill her flare even more.
I could physically. I could easily beat her so called, 'bodyguards.'
But, I wouldn't want any of them to lay a finger on her. On my sister. She was right.
She does have the power to decide what happens.
"I want to see proof that she's alive." Her hand shot up, palm outwards as if blocking the words that just came out of my mouth.
"Ah. You're getting ahead of yourself. Do you have...what I need?" Her beady eyes staring intensely at me, piercing through my skull and possibly looking into my soul.
I drew the two items out of my pocket, setting it on the desk in front her, in which she took them eagerly.
"This should get us started. Thank you-"
"Now, where's my proof?" Her eyes cut to me, freezing me in place.
I didn't give a damn. I gave her what she needed, and now I want what I needed.
Still staring at me, she turned the laptop around that was in front of her, to where the screen faced me, displaying a live video of something that made my blood run cold, but also, a twinge of relief go through my body.
"See? Your darling sister is fine. And, you'll get to see her again...if you get me the other things I need."
The words barely registered in my mind as I continued to look at the screen.
Taking a deep breath, I asked the one question that would probably result in my death later on, as if I wasn't already in hell.
"What do you need me to do?"

Hi, everyone.
To all those who kept asking when I was to update, I'm sorry. I obviously haven't updated in a while, and I was just really trying to get this chapter updated.
I'm sorry, for making you all wait. Um...I swear, I'm going to try and update better, with all the school work and projects going on, it'll be difficult.
But, I'm going to try my best, because I owe it all to you all.
Without you all, this story literally wouldn't be where it is, today, and I'm extremely thankful for that.
So, please forgive me!
I love you all!
