When those words left my mouth, Peter just stared at me, a range of different emotions in his eyes.
Lust, surprise, excitement, happiness, and love.
Smiling, his head dipped down and his lips snagged mine once more.
Before we could get any farther, he pulled back, looking at me in excitement.
"We have to go tell the others." He said, pulling me up and dragging me to the door, seeming to forget that he was shirtless and my sleeves were torn.
But he remembered, turning around and running to get his shirt and throw it on quickly.
I was still in the half intact dress, that wasn't even mine, but that didn't seem to stop him.
Agents looked at us in confusion as we ran down the hall.
A boy with a half buttoned shirt and disheveled hair... pulling a girl with her sleeves torn and her hair everywhere, both of their lips red and swollen from...what?
Yeah, we were totally having a contest, seeing who could blow up the most balloons. Totally.
"Where are they? Where are the-- AHA! Here they are!" Peter seemed to be more excited than me.
Everyone looked up upon our loud and... strange entrance.
"What's going on? Why is your shirt half-way on? And why are her sleeves torn? What did you two do?" Upon Tony's loud mouth and nosy questions, all I saw was Clint come around Tony and scrutinize us.
"What did you to do?" His eyes narrowed, seeming to zone in on Peter.
If looks could really kill, Peter would be dead 10 times over right now.
"Audry. Did you two...?" Lena's unfinished question hung in the air, all breaths held for the answer to it.
Why was everyone so eager to know if me and Peter had...you know...sexual intercourse?
"Uh, moving to more important matters, Audry would you like to tell them?" Peter looked over at me, giving me an encouraging smile.
I turned to the rest, who were still looking at us with wary and confused faces.
"Guys..." I took a deep breath, "I remember."
For a good while, everyone remained frozen, their eyes wide.
Then, different things happened, simultaneously.
Peter was pulled away from me, and multiple sets of arms were wrapped around me.
Different voices rang in my ears, exclaiming how glad they were that I had my memory back.
Being able to remember how I met my family, what I went through with my family, the fun times, the sad times, the bad times, the good times...was enough to bring tears to my eyes.
The family I mentioned, were the people who were currently talking excitedly and hugging me.
The 10 crazy, hilarious, brave, strong people around me...was my family, for all tends and purposes.
"You remember everything?" Lena questioned, holding me at arms length.
"Yes, Lena. I remember everything. I wish I didn't, but I remember Amas and that whole situation."
She smiled and pulled me into another hug.
"So...back to you and Peter." Tony suggested, raising an eyebrow.
"Um..not going to happen. That stays between the two of us," I trailed off as I caught sight of what they were working on before we came in, seeing a crowd of papers, "what is going to happen though, is the explanation of all these." Walking over, I took a closer inspection at the papers.
They were all pictures of buildings at different locations, ranging from Switzerland to Italy.
"What are all these?" Peter asked, gesturing to the pictures.
I looked over at him, his cheeks slightly red and a nervous look in his eye, then looking over his shoulder at Clint, who had a triumphant, smug, smirk on his face.
I could tell that a very interesting talk was in the future between Clint and me.
"They're possibly the bases that holds experiments that made our three very, best friends the way they are." Natasha answered, pulling out the three pictures of the three villains.
"Wait, they're making more people like...that?" I questioned, eyebrows raised.
"Not exactly like that, but they are experimenting on civilians." Like that was any better.
"We need to find out what these...labs are doing to people and stop it as soon as possible." Steve spoke, looking at all of us.
"Don't worry. The Helicarrier is already getting prepared. Fury just need us to pack and then we're on our way." Said Clint.
Everyone nodded and made their way to the door, before going their separate ways.
"I'll see you later." Peter addressed me, walking past.
He quickly slid his arm around my waist before giving me a quick peck on the cheek.
"And I plan on having our own little celebratory party once we're all settled." I prayed to God that nobody had heard that, and that he didn't feel my breath hitch in my throat.
But as he walked down the hallway to his room, a skip in his step and a smirk on his face that suited him well, I knew that he did.
