*Date Night*
Natasha, Lena, and Agent Hill (or Maria, as she insisted I call her) scurried around the room, criticizing this dress and that dress, and doing my makeup, hair, etc.
It was fairly amusing, if I say so myself.
"Mm... too revealing." I laughed as Maria picked dresses out of...her closet, only to have Lena dismiss them as 'too revealing', or 'too boring'.
Yes, we were in Maria's room. I hadn't been lying when I said I had no dresses, or anything remotely fancy, for that matter.
I was extremely grateful that Maria had let me occupy her room for a while, look through her dresses, and use some of her make-up...that she hadn't even opened yet!
She had...quite the wardrobe. I kind of wished I had her wardrobe. Maybe one day, she would help me update mine.
I just sat on the bed, watching Lena and Maria critique dresses, and Natasha looking for makeup that would, in her words, 'make my eyes pop'.
They didn't, not once, ask for my opinion on a dress, seeing as I was the one actually wearing the dress.
" Look... I don't have to wear a dress. It's honestly okay-" I was cut off as a gasp emitted from Lena.
"That's the one! Tasha, get her in that dress. We'll get the hair and make-up supplies ready." Yelping, I was pulled off of the bed by Natasha and lead into the bathroom, where Natasha basically put the dress on me, instead of doing it myself.
Lena wouldn't let me look in the mirror, for she wanted me to 'not be able to recognize myself'. I'm pretty sure that they'll accomplish that.
My back was to the mirror as Lena worked on my hair, and Tasha and Maria worked on my make-up.
They would poke and prod my face with...pencils... but I knew it was all for my well being.
Right?
It honestly didn't take long for them to finish, and when they did... it was worth sitting in a chair and being poked.
Lena was right. When I was finally able to look in the mirror, I did not recognize myself at all.
Natasha and Maria had made my eyes...look even more blue, just by putting dark make-up around my eyes. They had added red lipstick, blush, and mascara to finish it off.
I learned about all those tools as my makeover went on, that's the only way I knew them. But I still didn't know how to apply it, correctly.
"Guys... thank you so much. I honestly don't know what I would do without you." They all smiled, still admiring their work.
A knock sounded on the door, making all of us turn to the door.
When Maria opened it, Clint stood on the other side.
"I'm your escort for the evening. Meaning, I drive you there and my work is done." Sighing, I once again turned to the girls, thanking them for everything, before heading out of the door with Clint.
This is it, Audry, I said to my self, don't ruin it or embarrass yourself.
I'll try not to.

*At the restaurant*
The drive to the restaurant was...interesting. I'll just say that.
Clint lectured me on what I should do if Peter became too...'touchy'.
He acted as if I were his daughter, or little sister...not on a world saving team that works for S.H.I.E.L.D.
