I was no stranger to death, that was for sure. As I stared at Sonia's lifeless body, I felt the familiar numbness I always felt while seeing a corpse in front of me. I had grown indifferent over time, especially when my life was on the line. In a situation of life and death, personal feelings have to be disregarded to survive to see the next day.
Kazuichi Soda: "M-M-MS. SONIAAAAAAA!"

Kazuichi was a Remnant of Despair, yet he never seemed to learn that fact. Well, that's expected of humans in the end. He collapsed to the floor, bawling his eyes out over Sonia's body. I kept an eye on him, unsure of the reliability of his alibi quite yet.
In the end, I still needed to get the body discovery announcement to go off. Three innocent people can set it off, and I know for sure that I didn't do it. If I quickly go get someone else, I can find out if either they or Kazuichi are a suspect or not.
Nikei Yomiuri: "Stay right there. If you tamper with the body, I will knock you out with one of the basketballs here, Utsuro help me."
I turned and ran from the gym as best as I could in these stupidly large boots. I knew for sure that Kyoko was just in the middle of the communal area, so my first thought was to run and get her. Sure enough, she was standing there and making observations, unaware of what had taken place.
Nikei Yomiuri: "Mrs. Kirigiri! Mrs. Kirigiri!"
Kyoko Kirigiri: "You look pale. Did something happen?"
Nikei Yomiuri: "No time to explain, we need to get to the gym right now!"
Confused by my sudden pulling on her, she cooperated anyway and followed me to the gym. Once she was what lay inside, her hand flew to her mouth as her eyes widened.
Kyoko Kirigiri: "Oh my god..."
*Ding dong, bing bong*
