*The Despair Disease has ravaged the life of the participants, but it wasn't the thing that claimed the life of Hajime Hinata. The biggest questions here are when did he die, who can we trust, and is this trial as simply as it seems? Or is it a tool to unveiling a greater evil?*

*TRUTH BULLETS*

Monokuma File #5

The victim is Hajime Hinata, the Former Ultimate Hope. The victim's body was discovered in their private room on the first floor. The estimated time of death was 3:35am. The victim died from asphyxiation and lack of blood circulation and has strangulation injuries around their neck.

Nikei's Observation

Nikei has already narrowed down the suspects, and it all comes down to everyone's alibis at the time, in their opinion.

Neck Mark

There is a huge mark on Hajime's neck, which is the only injury that can be found on the body's exterior.

Despair Disease

The fifth motive is the Despair Disease, a mysterious 'illness' that makes the victim's personality change to a specific trait in the polar opposite of themselves. Hajime had the 'reverting disease,' Himiko had the 'hyper disease,' and Nikei had the 'guilt disease.'

Bundle of Wires

A mass of wires was found under Hajime's makeshift bed in the library, they were hung over the underside of the bedframe.

Fuyuhiko's Account

Fuyuhiko took over guard duty after Makoto suddenly abandoned his post to stop a suicide attempt and keep watch all night. Fuyuhiko didn't see anyone after he took watch. In the morning, Akane went into Himiko's room and found the disease cured, and sent Himiko out to be with Fuyuhiko while she moved the bed back to Himiko's room. Yasuhiro went into the library to give Hajime breakfast and found his body first.

AV Player

The same AV player that was broken into during the fourth case was reopened, most likely because of poor repairing on Monokuma's part, and its insides were stolen again.

What Maki Saw

Maki saw Nikei place Kyoko's handbook in the sauna, so she saved it and interrogated them. Nikei claimed that they were testing to see if the heat weakness of the handbook was still there so they could destroy all the handbooks, but retreated upon her sudden appearance and couldn't complete the task. Maki did not believe these claims and gave Kyoko's handbook to Himiko for safekeeping.

Small Bottles

Three bottles were found on Kyoko's bedside table: an aphrodisiac, an emetic, and a reanimator. An aphrodisiac is a medical drug that induces arousal in the body, an emetic is a medical drug that induces vomiting, and a reanimator is a doping drug developed by Seiko Kimura.

Third Motive

Monokuma's third motive for the killing game was 'everyone gets some else's secret.' The file mentions Nikei Yomiuri, so this was the motive that Kyoko received. This motive is a report on the Utsuroshima Killing Game, which Nikei had participated in. This file mentions that Nikei Yomiuri was aligned with the mastermind, but had been executed for a rule violation, and the only albino participating in this killing game was an AI based off a braindead woman's personality, Akane Taira's.
