As I woke up, I didn't hear the annoying bear's voice. Perhaps I've grown so tired of him that I slept through his announcements? Oh dear, that wouldn't be good at all. My classmates need to eat, after all.

I got out of bed and put on my boots. Like I always did, I went through my door and to the dining hall, like it was my routine by now. When I stepped inside, I was met by a dozen of desolate faces from my forlorn classmates. I didn't quite know what to say to them, so I just walked to the kitchen to make breakfast like I always did.

As I began cutting up potatoes and other vegetables to cook for breakfast, I wondered if I should do what Kyoko said yesterday and show everybody the CD I had found. They all looked heartbroken from the class trial yesterday, so I might as well give them a...consolation prize, of sorts. As I put the cut-up vegetables into a pan and put it in the oven, I made up my mind.

A few minutes later, I came out to the table with the pan of roasted potatoes and assorted vegetables, then the plates, and the cutlery for last. I knew the dangers of making too little trips and trying to carry everything at once. I set them out before everyone, who began serving themselves with quiet 'thank yous' in my direction. I began to worry, was my food beginning to be comfort food to them and making them want more? No, it didn't happen in my previous game, so it probably wouldn't happen here.

Nikei Yomiuri: "Good morning, everyone. It seems that we aren't doing so well this morning."

Himiko Yumeno: "You think?"

Kazuichi Soda: "After what we all saw yesterday, what did you expect would happen?"

Nikei Yomiuri: "You're more talkative than normal. That's good!"

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu: "Fucking hell, Nikei, what kind of psychopath are you to just brush the deaths of two, no, four people off like it's nothing?!"

Nikei Yomiuri: "I'm not, I'm just so used to death that I find it difficult to express grief towards people who are basically strangers towards me."

Well, that was half the truth.

Hajime Hinata: "Well, since we've completed another trial, another floor should open up."

Yasuhiro Hagakure: "What's the point, man? Face it, it's already game over for us."

Byakuya Togami: "Shut up, don't talk like that. Makoto, do something and talk him out of it."

Makoto Naegi: "He's right, we shouldn't be giving up now..."

Akane Owari: "You alright, man?"

Makoto Naegi: "Sorry, I'm just- My sister was murdered yesterday by her best friend while attempting to get us out. I'm not doing so well."

Maki Harukawa: "Yeah, I understand..."

Kyoko Kirigiri: "Nikei, I think now's the perfect time to show them what you found."

Nikei Yomiuri: "Right, I was wondering when to bring it up! I believe you have it, Mrs. Kirigiri."

Kyoko nodded and reached into her jacket, pulling out the CD and presenting it to everyone.

Byakuya Togami: "A CD? Where did you find this?"

Nikei Yomiuri: "In a classroom, but I had to inspect it first to see if there was any false information or not."

Kyoko Kirigiri: "Regardless, it doesn't matter how they found it, only the information on it is important."

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu: "So, what the hell's on it, then?"

Nikei Yomiuri: "A news report from September 26th, 2024. It showed Mr. Saihara, Ms. Harukawa, and Ms. Yumeno being led out of the new Hope's Peak Building, and it was apparently at the end of their killing game."
