Heracles 11th Labor

We continue our story by crossing over to the realm of mortals, an unnamed Mt. Tam to be exact. You see, this was the home of the Heraspide's, immortal hand-maidens of Hera, who tend the garden that houses the tree of the immortal apples. And a dickhe- I mean, hero, had to steal one as one of his labors. His labors were his punishment for killing his family. Everyone seems to forget that part of the story.

We find ourselves following this so-called Hero, wooing one of these Heraspide's, the oldest, Zoë. She gives him a sword, with her immortal essence inside. Anaklusmos, Riptide. We watch as he 'fights' the guardian of the tree, Ladon. In reality, he just runs around, jumping all over the place. He manages to grab an apple and runs far enough from the tree so Ladon can't chase him. (He didn't figure it out, Zoë told him.)

Zoë followed Heracles out of the garden, saying that he has to take her with him, but he isn't listening. When suddenly, he turns around with his eyes darkened with lust. "You know, if you want me to take you with me, I should probably prepare you." he said.

Now, Zoë wasn't an idiot. She knew exactly what was going to happen and she had no power to stop it. Heracles grabbed her and ripped off her dress. As he was unbuckling his pants, he was knocked aside by a fist. It wasn't Zoë who did it, as she was whimpering and cowering in fear.

No, the fist belonged to a handsome man that seemed to glow with an angelic light. Lucifer. He grabbed Heracles by the neck. "I sensed a deal being broken." He said in an accent that would be called 'English' in the future. "Was it by you?" He asked.

"WHO DARES ATTACK A SON OF ZEUS! HIS FAVORITE SON NO LESS!" Heracles screeched.

"I dare, and your daddy, should know not to mess with me. Did you know, I have the title of The Prince of Liars, but I actually hate them? I have a special place in hell, right where they belong." Lucifer asked.

"Who are you?" Heracles asked in fear.

"Is this daddy-boy scared? Good. You should be. I am the Devil after all." Lucifer said, his eyes lighting up with red.

Lucifer just knocked out Heracles and tossed him aside like the piece of shit he is. He then turned to Zoë who was cowering in fear, thinking that she just found someone worse than Heracles. In a sense, she had.

"Woah there, slow down, I'm not gonna hurt you. Lucifer. Morningstar." He said reaching out his hand. Zoë trembled. She reached out and stood up while shaking his hand. "Zoë." She paused looking for a last name She saw the perfect thing. "Nightshade."

"Well Zoë Nightshade, where are you gonna go? I don't think your sisters will take you back, but I do know of a few places where you could go."

"And where are these places?" She asked.

"Well, you could become a Hunter of Artemis, who may accept you, or you could come with me to Hell, I could make you a demon, where you torture people like dickules over there." He said while pointing at Heracles who was still knocked out.

"Wait... So you are like Lucifer, as in The Devil." Zoë asked.

"Someone's been reading their Bible! The one and only." He said.

"Then why aren't you..." She started but he cut her off.

"All burnt, red, horns?" He asked.

     "Well, yes." She confirmed.

"I never looked like that, but due to the representation of me, I have a form similar to it." He explained while revealing his Devil Face.

She didn't scream, she didn't push him away, she just looked at him, smiled, and said "I would like to go with you."

LINE BREAK

Zoë, now named Mazikeen, except for sometimes when Lucifer needed to be really serious with her, had moved up through the ranks. From starting with torturing Abel, she quickly became the best of the best of the best. She was in a class by herself.

Lucifer had decided that if he knew Mazikeen's real name, she should know his, so he told her. She had thought that Perseus was too long, so she often shortened it to Percy. Their relationship had grown slowly, starting with Mazikeen starting to trust him, to starting to like him in that way. And Lucifer, felt exactly the same way.

The day they got together was... well... interesting. It had started when Zoë tried to tell Percy how she felt but Percy couldn't believe it to be true. It had escalated to yelling and they were almost at the point of breaking down.

     "AND WHY NOT?!" Zoë screamed.

"BECAUSE I'M THE DEVIL!" He screamed back.

"No, you're not. Not to me." She said softly. Then kissed him. And he kissed back.

LINE BREAK

The wedding was a huge affair. It wasn't everyday that the King of Hell got married. All of Hell's residents were invited, no torture for the day. A couple of Mazikeen's friends who helped teach her how to torture were her bridesmaids. Abel, Adam, and Moses were the groomsmen. The ceremony however, was quick and straight to the point. Their rings, a really red ruby stone embedded in a circle of Demonic Steel. For gifts, Zoë gave Percy Riptide, reforged in Demonic Steel. And Lucifer gave Zoë full blown immortality from Riptide and a curved knife capable of killing Celestials, the same way as Azrael's blade. Now Demonic Steel can KILL Celestials, they would just reform, this knife would destroy them permanently.

Percy and Zoë went to bed that night, satisfied. And hopefully expecting a baby. They wanted a child. But as we would soon see, they weren't that successful. But we are getting ahead of ourselves. All that matters is that they were married, consummated that marriage, and went to bed as Lucifer and Mazikeen Morningstar, King and Queen of Hell.
