Last Time on Perseus The Disgraced Archangel...
The bickering finally died down, and Zeus called the meeting to a start. "I guess 1st things 1st, my brother here, has sired a Devil spawn!"
Percy took offence, as he hasn't had any 'spawn'. And the fact that they would call it a spawn, as if it wasn't a living being. "I'm sorry, I'm not a "Spawn". I'm the Devil himself!"
Zeus didn't look surprised. "Even better! Your son is Satan." he said, turning to Poseidon.
"And?"
"And?! HE'S THE DEVIL! EVIL-INCARNATE! What part of that do you not understand? And with the prophecy-"
Percy had been fed up at this point. "Alright. If that's what you think of me, then I'll get out of your old graying hair."
Percy looked at Zoë, who nodded slightly. He wrapped his arms around her, and with the sound of flapping wings, the 2 vanished.
LINE BREAK
"Well that's just great. There goes our only chance." Poseidon said. "Thank you Zeus, for dooming us to death."
"What do you mean?" Athena said.
"Whoa! Athena doesn't know something!" Hermes and Apollo said.
She glowered at them, before turning back to her enemy.
"We already knew that the Devil would walk up here, and that he would have advice from Hestia. And the only person she's talked to recently was Percy. We also know that a child of the big 3 will either choose for us to be saved or destroyed."
"So what, there are other big three children." Athena said. "Look, there's one right there."
She pointed at Thalia, who was looking a little uncomfortable. "Um... I was thinking about joining the hunt, actually."
Apollo turned to Artemis. "Speaking of... How are you doing, sis. I mean, finding out that your lieutenant wants to be fucked by a guy, that's... whew."
Artemis was in a catatonic state, knees pulled up to her chest, her arms wrapped around them. She didn't even shoot an arrow at her twin. Poseidon prayed real quick, and a rainbow screen was in front of the council. In the rainbow was a picture of Percy and Zoë sitting on a pier, eating funnel cake.
Zoë was smiling as she took a piece of the cake and stuck it in her mouth. She laid her head on Percy's head, who smiled. The two finished their funnel cake and threw the tray into the trash.
The couple walked over to the rollercoaster, and got in line. They showed the attendant their wristbands, who let them in. They, of course, sat in the front. The ride started up, moving through the air at 35 miles per hour. (56 km/h).
When the ride ended, Percy headed over to a balloon popping game. Zoë looked surprised. He hit 3 red balloons, signifying he got an XL plush. He of course chose the knife with eyes. It was a surprising thing for a children's plush, but who knows what kids are into. When the demons were little, they had 2 rocks for toys. Lilith wasn't exactly the best mother.
In fact, Percy sometimes took on a fatherly role, though that was VERY rare. The demons didn't really want consoling, opting to take their frustration out on the victims of Hell.
The iris message ended, and Artemis seemed to be in a better state of mind. Zoë looked happy, which was all she wanted. She inducted Thalia into the hunt, naming her, her new lieutenant.
"Now that that's finished, we have one child left to deal with." Zeus said.
"You're not touching my son, Zeus!" Hades said, summoning his bident. He pointed it at the king of the gods. "If you do, let's see what happens to your daughter."
Artemis spoke up. "That is now my hunter. You will not harm her!"
"Right, I wouldn't want you to lose 2 in the same day." Hera said snottily.
"NO ONE IS HARMING ANYONE! HOLY FUCK, YOU PEOPLE ARE SO CHILDISH!" Hestia yelled, pissed. Oh yeah, she was MAD. Come on, screaming, cursing, 2 things she never does.
"I reckon we try to find my son. He might be able to save us." Poseidon said. "He's the Devil, and a half-blood of the eldest 3."
Zeus grunted in disappointment.
Thunder signified the end of the winter solstice meeting.
LINE BREAK (1 ½ years later)
Zeus slammed his master bolt on the marble floor, starting the emergency meeting. The rest of the gods flashed in, sitting on their thrones. Hestia sat in her hearth, watching everything. The room felt colder than normal.
After a year and a half of searching, and no sign of Percy, their only hope was that Nico kid. But he had gone missing before the quest to free Artemis got back. No sign of him since. All hope had been almost lost.
With all the Olympians present, plus Hestia, the meeting could properly begin.
"The mission on Kronos' ship has been successful. The boat was destroyed, and hopefully Kronos with it." Zeus said. "Sadly, there were no survivors on our end."
Hephaestus wept for his lost son, Beckendorf.
Poseidon spoke up. "Um, Kronos wasn't actually destroyed. A titan is hard enough to destroy as is, those wouldn't have left a scratch."
"At least we have some hope." Athena said.
Artemis, Apollo, Poseidon, and Hestia didn't look like they agreed. In fact, Hestia quietly left to maybe cash in a favor.
LINE BREAK
Percy and Zoë walked up the hill to Camp Half-Blood. Percy breathed in the natural air. It was fresh compared to L.A.'s air. The golden fleece shimmered on Thalia's pine tree's branches. It gave the whole place a mythical vibe, which granted, Camp was a mythical place, but the point stands.
A cigarette sat, lit, in both of their hands, before they extinguished. Probably best to not let the young, impressionable kids see that. Honestly, it was a miracle that only a couple of Hermes kids smoked, and even that was rare.
The duo walked down to the big house, confusing every camper that saw them. They walked up the steps to the big house door, pausing, before opening it. As soon as they opened it, their ears were assaulted with sounds of arguing.
They followed the sounds to the rec room, where all the senior counselors were sitting around the ping pong table. That was odd. Actually, there was one person standing. Clarisse.
She was wearing full battle gear, her second electric spear was strapped to her back. Under one arm was a boar shaped helmet. A knife was secured on her belt.
She was in a shouting match with Michael Yew, who Percy guessed was the new Apollo counselor. It was kind of funny since Michael was a whole foot shorter than her.
A wood board creaked when Percy entered the room. It was quiet, but it still shut them up. They all turned to see the Devil and his bride.
Chiron was the first to speak up. "Percy?"
A/N. I like this chapter. I don't know why, but I do. I was supposed to finish this tonight, because of band camp, but my bus didn't show up, so I get to miss the day. (It's also the last day until July 19th!)
Anyways, hope you enjoyed it. I know some of you wanted to find out what happened at the end of the meeting from Arc 3, so here. Maybe it wasn't what you expected, but oh well.
