"This ride is so slow." Zoë said.

"Yes, quite a bore." Percy replied.

When Percy disappeared from the throne room, he and Zoë reappeared in California. At the Santa Monica pier to be exact. They had bought some unlimited wristbands, and rode the roller coaster. They were now on the Ferris wheel, which as Zoë mentioned, was very slow.

It was a chilly night. Zoë was covered with her hunter's parka, but Percy's suit barely did anything. He shivered, causing Zoë to laugh at him. Percy just deadpanned at her. She laughed even more, but this time cuddling up to him to share body heat.

"Y'know, it's almost Christmas." Percy said.

"Yep. Are we going to do anything? You usually don't like to."

"Let's mix it up this year. Who knows? Maybe it would be fun." Percy said, shrugging.

"It would be kind of hard to do in Hell, though." Zoë said.

Percy sat up and placed his hands on the railing. "About that..." He said, chuckling a little.

"Lucifer, what did you do?" She asked.

"I may have.. Told them that they... wouldn't see... me... for at least... 20... years..." Percy said, getting quieter with each word.

Zoë face palmed. "Damn it, Lucifer."

"I mean, we could sneak in, as long as no one sees me. Besides, I have a plan for the next 6 years. How does living in L.A. sound?"

LINE BREAK

"What happened?" Percy asked, back in his adult form.

"Apparently Dromos went missing a little while ago. Came back once and immediately left." Zoë said, also back in her adult form.

     "Who said this?" Percy asked.

"Belios, I also told him to look out for more suspicious activity."

     "Well then." Percy said, nodding.

"Now then, what is it you were saying about L.A.?

LINE BREAK

     "It's perfect!" Percy exclaimed.

"It's an empty street." Zoë said, confused.

"I know, but just wait." Percy said, before closing his eyes. The ground began to shake, as a tower rose from the ground. It was white, with a balcony on one end. Above the door, hung an empty sign, still yet to be filled in.

Percy took Zoë inside, showing her around the place. It was spacious and large. The bottom room seemed to be ready for a party, with a bar on one end and a stage on the other. Tables and booths littered the floor.

Percy took Zoë through the upper floors, which contained empty rooms. But at the top, was a penthouse. Steps lead up to another room. The entire space was empty, but with a snap of Percy's fingers, the space was filled.

"This looks like the stuff-" Zoë started.

     "From home?" Percy asked.

     "Yea." She whispered.

Percy walked up to her and hugged her from behind. "It is, since we can't go home yet, I thought I would bring home to us." He whispered in her ear.

Zoë smiled, before dragging him up the stairs to the bed.

LINE BREAK

Percy woke up gasping. Zoë was still asleep next to him, snoring softly. The covers were up to below her breasts, and she seemed to be shivering a bit. He pulled them up to her neck, before kissing her on the forehead. She smiled in her sleep.
