Percy stood at the edge of a pit that he couldn't see the bottom of. While other people in his situation would have felt uneasy just standing there, Percy felt nothing. Actually, he felt like that was his home. He felt at peace.

"Who is this?" A voice that sounded malicious but curious sounded from the pit.

Percy felt a huge hand start to creep from the depths and after a couple seconds could see a wispy hand. It started to reach for Percy. He just stood there and when it was close Percy smacked it. "Don't touch me." He said.

"Interesting." The voice said. "No one has said that to me before."

"And I'll say it again." Percy sassed. "In matter of fact I'll come down there and say it to your face."

And with those words, Percy jumped.

The fall would have been longer if Percy didn't have wings. You see, Angels of any kind are notoriously fast when flying. Faster than a NASA X-43 which reached speeds of Mach 9.6. (Over 7,000 mph, or 11,265 kph.) So yea, he reached the ground almost instantly.

He looked around, or rather, felt around for the being that he was just antagonizing. He felt a bunch of the same power a couple of miles.

When he got there he just saw a head laying in a pile of dust. It looked like he was... reforming. He picked up the head and stared into its golden eyes. "Don't. Touch. Me." Percy growled. Unknown to him, his eyes started glowing red.

     Percy's dream changed.

He was standing in a beautiful garden. He watched as Heracles "fought" Ladon and the entire exchange between the man and Heraspide. He watched as Perseus put the man in his place and invite Zoë to become a demon.

He watched as Zoë and Perseus became closer. Perseus calling Zoë Mazikeen in public, Zoë in private. And he saw what Zoë called Perseus. 'Percy.'

Percy woke up gasping. The memories of the previous night came rushing into his head. He looked around the clearing they were camping in. Annabeth was sitting there ignoring Percy. Grover was sitting on a rock with a pink poodle sitting on his lap.

"You finally woke up Percy?" Grover asked.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm awake." Percy responded. "You talking to the poodle?"

"Yeah, his name is Gladolia and he is going to get us West."

     "How?"

"There's a reward of $200 dollars if we turn him in. That can be used to get us train tickets." Grover answered.

     Percy hummed in understanding.

The trio traveled West for 2 days without incident. The most interesting thing to happen is when Percy saw a large lion with golden skin about the size of a car, jump through some tall grass into the woods. He thought he saw flashes of silver but that just could've been his imagination.

The ride gave Percy a lot of time to reflect on his dreams. If there was one thing that he was almost certain of, was that he was Perseus. The Disgraced Archangel.

The dreams would be flashes of his memory coming back to him.

After travelling for a couple of days, the train stopped in St. Louis. Annabeth, being the architecture junkie, decided they HAD to see the Arch. That brings us to now, where Percy is facing a Chimera and the Mother of Monsters, Echidna.

You see, there had been this old lady with a chihuahua in the Arch with them. While Annabeth and Grover went down to the ground in the elevator, the old lady was revealed to be Echidna with her dog actually being her son, the Chimera.

The Chimera started the party by blowing a huge hole into the side of the Arch. From that moment on, Percy was blocking attacks from the Chimera like there was no tomorrow.

While Percy was blocking a bite from the mouth of the Chimera, the serpent tail rushed around and bit him in the thigh. Or at least, it tried to. The fangs broke off as soon as they made contact with Percy's skin. As a last ditch effort, the Chimera breathed a huge ball of fire, knocking the sword out of his hand and down into the river below.

Percy backed up to the hole. The Chimera and it's mother approached him. They were right next to him when Echidna started her monologue. Using his time wisely, he grabbed the Chimera by it's fur and Echidna by her snake bottom half and leaned back out of the window, falling into the river below.

Or not. The mother and son did, turning into dust as hitting water from that height is lethal. Percy however remained in the air via his wings. He flew down into the water to find his sword.

He found it, the blade stuck in mud in the same way as the sword in the stone. He grabbed it, put the cap on it, then stuck in his pocket. He swam his way up to the surface. About halfway there, he noticed something. He was dry. And he was breathing normally.

Locking away the information for later, he swam the rest of the way up. He met with Annabeth and Grover in the crowd. They passed a News Van with a news woman talking to a rolling camera. "Witnesses say that a kid jumped off the Arch with 2 people that he grabbed. Others say that he had wings and looked like an Angel. Is it just a hoax, or is the rapture coming?" The woman ended.

"I can tell you, it ain't the rapture that's coming." Percy muttered to himself.
