Despite the death of a friend, the battle still wore on. Clarisse was running on 2 hours of sleep, a coffee, and pure rage. She single handedly made the monsters retreat. Well, that and the rising sun, but it was mostly her.

They decided to set up a new base of operations inside the Empire State Building. While everyone else went to rest up, Zoë went off to the side to keep her knife skills sharp. Percy sat on a couch and watched her with a small smile.

After a couple of minutes, Percy spoke up. "Wanna spar?"

     Zoë turned around. "Sure."

They went up to a random floor that was full of offices. Percy took out Riptide and faced Zoë. They stared at each other for a minute, before they charged together. Zoë sliced at his arm with her knife, but Percy blocked.

The fight went on for hours, not that the 2 combatants knew it. It ended with Percy pinning down Zoë, Riptide at her throat. They were breathing heavily. Their clothes were ripped pretty bad.

They stayed there for a couple of minutes, staring at each other. At least, until they were interrupted.

"Um, I hope I'm not interrupting anything, but the enemy is advancing, and they're being led by Kronos and Annabeth." Thalia said.

Percy sighed, before standing up. He reached his hand out to Zoë to help her up. She took it, and got up, only to be swept into a kiss by Percy.

Apparently it went on too long, as Thalia coughed into her fist. "Um, army, remember?"

They separated. "Yeah, we're coming." Percy said.

LINE BREAK

It was bad. Wounded campers and Hunters were in the lobby of the Empire State Building. Clarisse was frozen in a block of ice. Probably lost a fight with a hyperborean.

Percy and Zoë exited the building and faced the approaching army. Strangely, there were humans in the midst of the monsters. But as Percy focused on them, Percy could see that they weren't humans, they were demons.

Percy could see Kronos was walking in the lead, his scythe being dragged right behind him. He had a cruel smile on his face. But Percy could see the nervousness and apprehension.

Percy smiled. He had broken Kronos' spirit.

It was just Percy and Zoë that stood in the way of the army, until a crack in the ground spread down the middle of the road. Out of it came an army of skeletons lead by a god of the Underworld.

Hades and Persephone stood on a dark black chariot, being pulled by skeletal horses. Nico stood off to the side, looking a little nervous.

"AH, son! Have you come to join me? I know Zeusy cast you out."

"Nope, as bad as Zeus is, you're worse."

Suddenly, a monster in the army turned to stone. A woman slipt out of the alley and made a get away. Another monster turned to stone. She eventually made her way over to Percy.

"Medusa. I see you figured out the little gift I left you." Percy said.

"Yeah, it's been really handy." The now identified woman said.

"Oh, look at this. A nice little reunion! How touching. Demons, to me, giants, deal with them." Kronos said, before disappearing into the crowd of demons.

Hades charged at the giants, making them fall one by one.

Percy looked around to try and find Kronos, but he had disappeared entirely. "Shit."

Hades yelled at Percy, "He's heading to Olympus, stop him!"

Percy groaned. He knew it was going to happen, but he just... really hoped it wouldn't.

He motioned to Zoë, who nodded. They ran to the elevators. They entered, and slowly went up to the 600th floor.

The elevator doors opened to show an almost destroyed Olympus. Cracks appeared wherever they stepped. A part of the bridge crumbled underneath them. In response, Percy grabbed Zoë and spread his wings, flying them safely to the other end.

Trees were in splinters, statues were melted down, and mansions were burning. In short, it was all burning and looked like someone had taken a weed whacker to the floating city. Percy did some damage control, using his power to bring all of the flames down.

They walked the winding road, until they reached the Throne room.

A/N. Alrighty! This is the last chapter that I have to write for now. And now I get to finally release the prewritten chapters. I will be releasing them one every hour. So in one hour, you will get the next chapter.

I know this was shorter, but honestly, I don't want to just add too much non important shit. I'm also excited to finally publish the chapters. Maybe they'll finally stop fucking up the order of these chapters. Seriously, everytime I go to publish a new chapter, they are always in the midst of other ones. So I have to drag all them back to the bottom.

Anyways, thoughts?
