Zoë watched as the portal closed, trapping her husband and his twin in an alternate universe. The rest of the portals slowly closed, leaving no way of ever seeing them again. Of course, if they still had the Flaming Sword, they could cut through reality until they found the right universe, but they didn't.

Tears fell at the thought that she wouldn't see her husband again. Artemis came up to her. She wrapped her arms around her former lieutenant, whispering comforting thoughts in her ear.

Zoë clutched her hand around her remaining demon blade. She had a job to do. She wrestled herself out of Artemis' arms, and stood up. She wiped her tears, and walked out of the throne room.

She took the elevator down to the Empire State Building. She walked out to see Annabeth commanding the monsters to still attack. Hades was still fighting, but most of the demigods had fallen.

Zoë walked to the front of the battle lines and pointed her dagger right at Annabeth. "ME AND YOU. IF I WIN, YOU ALL LEAVE, IF YOU WIN, YOU GET ACCESS TO OLYMPUS!"

Annabeth smirked. "Alright. So be it."

LINE BREAK

Michael looked around. Around them was nothing.

If a human looked around, their brain would literally explode because they couldn't comprehend it. So, I'll try to explain it. It was like space, except there were no planets, stars, or comets. There was just nothing.

Percy spread his wings and flew up, Michael following him. Percy dodged a wild slash made by Michael, and turned around. The demon dagger met flames as they clashed again. Percy spun, flinging Michael away.

Percy flew at Michael, aiming to disarm his brother. Michael flew back and slashed at Percy. Percy's blade hit the Flaming Sword. The Flaming Sword sputtered, and a crack was revealed.

They separated, and studied each other. Their wings were flapping, not that it did anything, they were in a vacuum. It was mostly to let their wings stretch out. They could get terribly uncomfortable.

Michael let loose a blast of energy, which Percy shaped into multiple knives, swords and other weapons. Percy made them fly at Michael. He blocked them, except for one, which stuck into his appendix.

Michael took it out and used some of his shirt to block the wound. Percy looked a little regretful.

Michael lunged at Percy, who sidestepped and made a grab for the Flaming Sword. Michael was too slow, and the sword was wrestled from his grip. Percy held the sword and turned around.

But while doing so, he stabbed Michael through the chest. Michael grasped the handle of the blade that did him in. He stared at Percy, before dropping to the 'ground'.

Percy dropped the sword, and it shattered as soon as he did so. Michael closed his eyes. Percy's eyes widened in shock, and he dropped to his knees. He crawled to his fallen brother.

Michael started glowing, before exploding. Percy was launched back. Where Michael had died, was pure demiurge power. A lot of it in fact. Enough to create an entire universe, if Percy so wished.

But Percy didn't want that, at least, right now.

A floor and wall solidified, and Percy sat, crying.

LINE BREAK

Zoë and Annabeth circled each other, looking for weaknesses in each other's stance. Zoë had none, but Annabeth... Well, Zoë's main problem was choosing which one she should use. I mean, there were her feet, her legs, her arms, basically everything.

Annabeth ran forward, making a swipe at Zoë's cheek. "Let's see how Percy likes you when you have a scarred face!"

Zoë scoffed, before jumping back and grabbing Annabeth's arm. She twisted it and jumped over her. Annabeth tried to throw her elbow back to escape, but it was of no use. Zoë wrapped her arms around her neck from behind, before flipping them over, and onto the ground.

Annabeth was pinned down to pavement. Zoë took her knife and drove it into her back. She twisted it and pulled it out. She thrust it back in again, twisted and pulled it out.

Zoë leaned in close to Annabeth's ear. "I'm not Hell's best torturer for nothing. And with all that guilt... I can't wait to see you soon." She whispered.

Annabeth turned to Zoë, as much as she could, and saw her half mutilated face. Zoë's lips were spread in a wide smile. A sadistic look in her eye. She looked beautifully demonic.

She repeatedly stabbed the Titan Lord's bride, until the entry wound was a circle and not the shape of the knife. Blood was pouring out of the hole and rolling down her body, down onto the street.

Annabeth died there, on the ground. The monsters surrounding the fight left. They had a little bit of honor, and besides, this woman could kill them all easily.

The gods flashed down. Of course, they made it look dramatic. Zoë scoffed at their arrival. They couldn't have helped with this, at the very least? Seriously, only she had the idea to come help, but the 'almighty Greek gods' only sat and watched.

Zeus stepped forward. "DEMIGODS! IT'S TIME FOR REWARDS!"
