Chapter 8

Ae-Cha's POV continued:

I nervously walked towards the office. I have decided to be calm.

"Calm down. Calm down." I kept repeating to myself.

The peon walked ahead of me and I kept following his trail. Within few minutes we both were standing at the office.

"Wait here. I will just get the permission to let you in." I nodded.

"All is well. Everything's gonna be ok."

"La la la ... la la la..."

"Ahh! I can be so irritating myself." I am singing songs in this situation when I should be serious.

I am a whole different vibe and I don't understand myself sometimes. The peon came out.

Waved his hand inside opened the door. I walked in.

The principal was at his hugely comfortable, well-designed, and neatly tucked sofa pinned brown armchair. He smiled looking at me.

I gave a gentle smile in return. Now, I am feeling a little relaxed looking at his smile.

He is the calmest person and a genuine human being I have ever met.

He knows how to handle different personalities with care and love.

"Sit Ae-Cha."

He showed his hand towards the chair. I slowly moved the chair and sat.

"Hi, Sir! "

"How's it going Ae-Cha? At the classes and everything?."

"Well, Sir. I am being focused and studies are going well ahead of time."

"Oh wow. That's a piece of pretty good news I heard today."

I smiled in agreement.

"So, we are planning an event at our premises. And we are planning of calling your dad as the Chief Guest over here."

My eyes widened in amazement.

"Ok ..ok .. well don't give that look to me you girl."

And he laughed gently with a wave of his hand in the air. And I started smiling.

See, I told you he knows people well. "So, what I want is you give this to him."

He opened his right drawer and took out a golden card. Closed it and passed the card to me on the desk.

"Tell your dad that we have invited him. All the other necessary details are on the card. We expect him to come and make us glad about his gracious presence."

I smiled widely looking at the cover of the card.

"Ok then. Meet you soon at the event girl. "

I greeted him bye and lifted myself from the chair. I walked out happily.

So, this was unexpected but I am really happy now. While I was walking towards the class, the school bell rang indicating the end of lunch break.

"Oh shit. I completely forgot that this is Mr. Peter's class."

"I gotta hurry up." I kept the card inside and started running towards the class.

I reached and saw pupil's still gathering in class and Mr.Peter was yet to arrive. I stumbled back to my seat and kept still to calm myself down.
