Chapter 11

Ae-Cha's POV :

I had a nervousness inside my head as I sat waiting for Mr.Peter to arrive.

I was secretly praying for some miracle to happen. I was praying if he did not come today or he might get engaged in super important work so that he cannot deliver lectures or something that saves me from his anger.

I had my fingers crossed while everyone in the class was buzzing around with random topics.

Some were talking of studies while some were fangirling BTS while some kept quiet while some chitchatted about their homes.

I was waiting for the worst moment to begin which no one in this world looks forward to.

It has already been 15minutes but still, Mr.Peter hasn't attended us.

My heartbeats are beating fast with a different vibe altogether.

After few moments I started believing that he won't come and started to make myself believe it.

"I think he hasn't come today."

"Hey listen Min-Ho."

"Yes Ae-Cha."

"Have you seen Mr.Peter since morning or is he absent today?", I inquired.

"Idk much. But I guess he will be there in some time as no one came to inform of his absence. "

He was correct. If he wouldn't have to be here we were most likely to get informed but weren't yet.

When I was about to begin praying, I heard the pupil turn silent.

And then, Mr.Peter arrived.

I was no more than super sad seeing him.

But all the promises that I have made to myself and Yoona have now to be put to test.

It was time to make it believe that actions speak louder than words. He came and was in a jolly mood today and it is very rare of his version.

I was so so regretting this for becoming his future mood spoiler.

I do wish that I would have been extra careful and kept that book in my bag.

He started with his lessons.

"Students, I will verify your work in the last 15minutes."

Hearing this I was half dead.

Yes, half-dead because now for more than 30minutes I have to bear this anxiety of mine and consciously help myself overcome it.

"It's ok. He looks in good mood. He won't scold me."

"Or how about I would not be called today. Wow, that would be so great right?"

"Well, see technically speaking I am at the last bench and if Mr.Peter spends 2minutes on each one it would still take 20minutes to reach me and till then lecture is getting over."

All sorts of logical and illogical ideas boosted up.

"Ae-Cha. Let's start with you. Today we will initiate the verifications from the last bench."

"Shit I am ruined. What will I show him now?"

I was terrifically stricken and had no idea what to tell, how to convince, and what would happen.

I just sat still for few moments with a blank in mind.

My mind went numb and I could not think anything like it just had zero thoughts.
