Walking into my house, I called out to see if my dad was home. After receiving no reply, I walked up into his office to find a same note left on his desk.

"I got an urgent call from a client to organise a meeting, so I won't be home until late. Let the maids leave after they have finished cleaning the kitchen and remember to lock all the doors - Dad."

"Of course" I muttered under my breath. My father was never home. He always had a meeting to go to, or a client to see, or something that would force him not to come home until I've gone to bed. My father and I had different opinions on almost everything, so we don't really have the best relationship. We are constantly arguing and bickering when we are together, although that's not very often.

After I changed out of my uniform, into a white singlet and black sweatpants, I made my way downstairs. I entered the kitchen to find Dakota, our maid, wiping the bench top.

"Once you've finished wiping the table you can head home."

"There are still dishes to do. I was told to finish in the kitchen and then leave." She said, in her soft English accent.

"Never mind those, I can do them. You can finish a little bit earlier today."

"Thank you. Ms D'Liest."

Once Dakota left, I went through the pantry, trying to find something to cure my hunger. Taking a packet of chips off of the top shelf, I began making my way to the couch, only to be interrupted by a loud bang on the door. I groaned as I dumped the chips on the couch, retreating back to the door. Another loud bang came from the door.

"Hold your horses, I'm coming."

I opened the door, to find Cameron leaning against the door frame. I began to slam the door shut, but was stopped by Cameron's large hand holding the door open.

"Why are you here?"

"Great to see you too, Natalie" He replied in a snarky tone.

"Just tell me while you're here so you can leave."

He pushed past me and entered the living room, picking up the packet of chips as he slouched down on the couch.

"Salt and vinegar, nice choice. I would have preferred sour cream and onion but this will do."

I snatched the packet out of his hands and grabbed him by the wrist. With a rough grasp on his wrist, I started dragging him outside. To my surprise, he did not refuse. He simply allowed me to easily move him towards the door. My surprise ended as we neared the door, with him starting to make it harder for me to move him.

"Please, just leave. I don't have time for this." I sighed.

"Oh, yes. Because you can't find time in your busy schedule which involves eating and lying on the couch, to give me five minutes of your time." He retorted.

"Yes, I am a very busy women, I do not have five minutes to spare." I said as we finally reached the door.

"It might not even take five minutes. That all depends on your previous... fun activities." He stated, eyeing my body. With that, I slammed the door in his face and walked back into the lounge room. Just as I was about to lay myself down on the couch, I heard another tap on the door.

"Gosh, Cameron. I thought I told you to leave." I said as I walked to the front door once again and opened it.

"What do y-"I was stopped mid-sentence after finding there to be no one outside of the door. I looked around, try to see if there were any little children who may have been trying to scare me, but only found an empty street. I continued looking around until my eyes feel on a small package that was placed right underneath the porch light. I hesitantly walked towards the package, slowly inspecting it, before I carefully picked it up. I held it close to my ear and shook it, a light thud coming from the box.

"That's strange" I murmured to myself while turning around and re-entering the house. Placing the box on the kitchen table, I opened the drawer and grabbed a knife. Ripping the sticky tape which sealed the box, I began to cautiously open it.

After unfold all of the flaps, I stared down into the box. A small note was left in the middle, with my name written in neat, cursive handwriting. I picked up the card and flipped it around, reading the message several times.

"I just thought you might need these, in case you want to ruin another family's life. I hope you didn't miss me, because I'm back, and I'm going to make your life a living hell."
