"What just happened?"
All I remember was walking into my wardrobe but everything else was a blur. I woke up crying? Jeez, what a terrible dream I got myself into... HOLD ON. I'M GOING TO WHAT? AND I'LL BE ABLE TO WHAT?-

♡TIME SKIP 8 YEARS♡
"Hey Sakura, wanna go sneak to the nearby village?" Asked Kurapika. It has been 8 years since I've entered this world of hunters. I've been interested in the books about Nen to make sure I remember all the basics. Since I was an otaku, I remembered something about The Promised Neverland and how they used to play tag in order to train themselves, so I decided to use that idea without being suspicious.
"Okay Pika!" I exclaimed aloud to him.
I always tried bugging him to bring me with him to explore the nearby villages. Also, I ended up getting my bag of goods from my mother. She stated that somebody had given it to me but she hasn't looked in the bag yet. All of the things I brought were in the bag, which made me relieved. I decided to keep the outfit I had on and carried my bag with me, also bringing a few more snacks from the clan just in case. Like chocolate-dipped bread! "Okay, Pika! I brought everything I need!~" I exclaim with a large toothy grin, showing my pearly whites. I was excited about this trip since I barely got to leave the village and go on adventures. The only thing closest to having an adventure was going into the nearby forest surrounding the clan to play tag, otherwise, I'd be reading about Nen from a book Kurapika bought for me at a nearby village. Luckily, he was uninterested in why I wanted the book.
While silently with Kurapika, I'm shuffling a deck of cards my mother had given to me whenever I felt bored. Before we were heading to the nearby village though, I couldn't help but hug our mother as tight as I could. Something inside me felt the urge to hug my mother.

The sun was slowly setting, so we decided to make a small camp to rest for the night. "Hey~ Pika, Would you like some snacks I brought with me?" I asked since he looked like he could maybe use something to eat. I kinda felt bad for leaving Pairo behind, but the trip would be too dangerous for him seeing as how he's blind. "Sure, Sakura~Chan." Said Kurapika as he gratefully accepted the offer. After eating a few snacks, we decided to take a quick nap. Before I took my nap, I gazed at the stars, thankful for the life I had now. I turned to Kurapika and hugged his back, drifting off to the known void, entering the world of dreams.

♡TIME SKIP - AFTER THE TRIP♡
I couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy when making the trip back home, so I gripped Kurapika's finger. I could feel that he felt tense as well but relaxed a bit when I held his finger. My hands were still tiny so they could only wrap around his finger.
Then suddenly, we stopped and stared at the scene in front of us. There was the smell of metallic blood in the air and blood splattered on the floor and walls of the village we called home. We stared at the lifeless, eyeless corpses on the ground, looking as if they were struggling. I felt my vision go red, staring at the scene in front of us, feeling tears go down my cheek. I let go of Kurapika's finger and covered my mouth to then look at his face. His eyes show a firey scarlet colour, tears flowing down his cheeks. All of a sudden, I see a man with silky black hair with people behind him, looking around the place as if they were in search of something.
I tugged on Kurapika's sleeve and stared in their direction. It was the Phantom Troupe in the flesh... Some were checking to see if there were any survivors left, while some held onto the eyes of our brethren. Kurapika glanced to where I was looking, wide-eyed. He carried me over his shoulder and ran as quietly as he could as if he were playing tag, which in fact, we technically were. He ran and ran and never stopped until we reached a river which was far away from the village. He placed me down and stared at my scarlet eyes, while I did the same, staring back at his eyes with tears running down my cheek.
I couldn't help but feel grateful that he was with me and that I wasn't alone. However, that didn't change the fact that our family had died and that their eyes were stolen. And that I had the audacity to leave Pairo alone... Knowing that this would've happened soon, I'm the reason they died.
Everything was quiet, the only thing we heard was the gentle sound of the water in the river and the sniffle and cries Kurapika and I made. After what felt like some time, I hugged him as tight as I could on his waist, while he did the same with my tiny body, returning the hug. I felt even sadder that in the anime Kurapika had to deal with this all alone. Kurapika then said:
"Sakura... I'm so glad I brought you with me on the trip to the nearby village... I don't know what I'd do if I was alone knowing the fact that my sister could've been dead... But we left Pairo, mum, and dad behind..." He said with sniffles. I cried and nodded my head, saying:
"I don't know what I would've done either."
