You must be wondering why I'm trying to be Hisoka's friend. Well, he's one of my favourite characters but I can't help but think that maybe, just MAYBE this could prove to be a benefit in the future. Also maybe I could save some good memories. God damn, I hope I ain't his 'fruit.' Or even worse... Literal chills.
We've been running for about three hours straight and to be honest, I'm kinda glad I used tag as a form of training. It helped a lot in my case. I snapped out of my thoughts to hear Leorio yelling. "HEY, KID! SHOW SOME RESPECT TO THE HUNTERS EXAM!" He yelled beside me. I looked towards the direction he was yelling at and see Killua.
"Hmm? What do you mean?" He asked. "WHAT DO I MEAN? THIS IS AN ENDURANCE TEST!" He yelled, making me flinch a bit, causing a ringing in my ear. "..Lower the volume Leorio..." I mumbled. "No, it's not an endurance test." Gon answered at Leorio innocently.
"HAAH? WHAT DO YOU MEAN GON?" He asked, still yelling. I sweatdropped. "Satotz-san only told us to follow him. He never said we couldn't use anything to help us." I stated, Gon nodding beside me. "WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON?" Leorio yelled. "Nobody's." Gon and I answered, looking at each other, then grinning. "Hey, how old are you guys?" Killua asked. "Twelve!" Gon and I answered at the same time.
"Me too," Killua said. "Guess I'll run too." He said as he kick-flipped off his skateboard. "Incredible!" Gon and I stated, running a bit more forward to match Killua's pace. "I'm Killua." "I'm Gon!" "Sakura," I state with a smile. A little bit after, we hear panting behind us, causing us to stop, looking at Leorio who looked like he got water spilled all over him. I sweatdropped. "Hey, come on. Let's just leave him behind." Killua stated. Gon and I stayed silent until Leorio said, "Damn it... SCREW IT ALL! I'M GONNA BECOME A HUNTER!" He yelled, zooming past us. Gon then used his fishing rod and grabbed ahold onto the briefcase. "Wowzers! You'll have to lend me your fishing rod sometime!" Killua stated as I looked at Gon and a huge smile.

"And you'll have to lend me your skateboard!" He stated as we started to run again to catch up with the group. "I'll let you guys borrow a sword I have as well," I stated, smiling. Then gave me a nod before we came to a set of stairs. We kept running up the stairs, avoiding all the bodies the fell or were on the set of stairs. We then caught up to Leorio who had removed his shirt and my now brother, Kurapika, did something similar, however kept the thin white cotton shirt he had underneath the traditional Kurta wear.
"We'll run ahead!" Said Gon. "Catch you two at the end," I state with a smile. "Catch you later, Old Timer," Killua said with a cheeky smile. Here's my favourite part. "I'M NOT OLD I'M A TEENAGER LIKE YOU GUYS!" Everybody except me looked dumbfounded, while I giggled softly. "HAH?" Killua said. We then ran away from them when we decided to talk about why we wanted to become a Hunter. I zoned out for a while until I heard my name.
"What about you, Sakura?" Asked Killua. "Why do you wanna become a Hunter?" He asked curiously. "Well, my brother is Kurapika and he said he didn't wanna leave me behind and insisted on me taking the exam with him. I also wanted to become a Hunter because I wanna go on adventures and see the world and perhaps other worlds." I stated, smiling at the two. "Interesting..." Killua muttered. "Hey, how about we have a race? Loser buys the winner dinner." I stated. They both gave me determined nods and they both made a dash up the stairs. I chuckled and enhanced my speed using Nen I'm a bit ahead of them, making my way next to Satotz who hadn't noticed that I was next to him, until he glanced to his right, seeing me.
I noticed his glance and smiled at him. I also forgot to mention how I'm number 406. "Ne, Satotz San? May I go up ahead?" I asked him. He gave me a glance and nodded. I ran even faster and I noticed the large opened door. "Yeah!" I screamed as I made it past the door, realising I made it to the door a bit too earlier than Satotz, Gon, and Killua. Oops. I then heard two voices yell out "GOAL!" and started complaining about who was faster. I sweatdropped and giggled.
They heard my giggle and looked towards me, realising that I got there before them. Then they realised how they'd have to buy me dinner. I waved it off, saying its fine, and gave them both some chocolate. The look Killua had when I showed the chocolate made me smile and stifle a laugh.
After a bit, Leorio and Kurapika had made it and I gave my brother a big hug. "You both did it!" I exclaimed as I released from the hug, smiling at Kurapika, and handed him and Leorio a bottle of water. After a bit, a man almost made it and yelled "WAIT FOR ME!" Until the door closed shut on him. 'Too bad we don't wait for anybody at the Hunters Exam...' I thought.
And then Satotz started to explain how we shouldn't let out guard down in the swamp. Well, no kiddin' Sherlock. "Man, as if they could fool us," Leorio stated. "DON'T LET HIM FOOL YOU!" A man-faced ape yelled. I stared at disgust before looking away, unconsciously setting my gaze at Hisoka who looked at me with a smirk and a deck of cards in his hand, to which he was shuffling. A cold chill ran down my back as I looked back at Satotz. I could still feel Hisoka gaze at me though...
Not long after, three cards were thrown each at Satotz and the man faced ape. I shifted my gaze to an additional card being thrown at me. He must know I'm a damn nen user. God damn it Tonpa you-
I caught the card in between my index and middle finger, glaring daggers at Hisoka who noticed and chuckled. My brother however noticed the familiar card in my hand and had a look of worry and concern. "Now that settles it..." Hisoka said, setting his gaze to the examiner. I kinda zoned out until Hisoka said something else, making me shiver. "Also, apologies Little Sakura, my hand must've slipped and thrown a card to you by accident.~" He stated. Then everybody's gaze shifted to me looking at Hisoka, then the card in my hand. "..It's fine," I state back, hesitantly walking to Hisoka and gave the card back to him. The card he threw at me was the Joker. He declined my offer and told me I could keep it. I placed it in my bag and walked back to my brother with wide eyes.
