𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕕𝕠 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕜 𝕪𝕠𝕦'𝕣𝕖 𝕕𝕠𝕚𝕟𝕘? - ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝟞

Running the swamp was like running on a wet carpet with socks on. It made me cringe. A lot.

We've been running in the swamp for a while until I lost Kurapika and Leorio. The fog made it a bit difficult to sense where they were. After wandering around a bit, I felt a shiver run down my spine as I sensed Hisoka nearby, with a few other people. I decided to head in his direction since I knew Kurapika and Leorio would be there. Eventually, if they hadn't arrived yet.

I ran towards the direction I sensed Hisoka. As I reached the spot, I see both Kurapika and Leorio standing there wide-eyed at Hisoka, his cat-like eyes glowed a golden hue in the fog.

Their attention was focused on Hisoka. "...Hm~ Do you two want to play a game of examiner too?~" Hisoka cooed, staring at Kurapika and Leorio. I stared as I saw Hisoka walk towards Kurapika and Leorio slowly, taking out a card. His hair swayed in the soft breeze of the wind. Kurapika whispered something to Leorio, then yelled out; "NOW!" He and Leorio ran in opposite directions, not even sensing his little sister that stood there alone.

"I, Uhm..." I muttered awkwardly as Hisoka turned around sharply, his gaze locking with mine. "Eep!" I exclaimed, then covered my mouth.

"Now, now~ I'm your friend. No need to be scared~" He stated, stopping a meter away from me, towering over my height. I stared back at him as he took a card out. As I was about to say something I sensed Leorio and stared at him, dumbfounded, who was behind Hisoka emerging from the fog. "I'm sorry Kurapika..." He muttered, looking up to meet my eyes. He stared at me wide-eyed with the stick in his hand as he gripped onto it tighter. "GET AWAY FROM HER!" He yelled, charging at Hisoka who seemed amused. 'Dumbass...' I thought as I sweatdropped.

As he was about to punch Leorio, I noticed a familiar fishing rod hit Hisoka's cheek. 'GON!' I screamed in my mind as I looked to Gon with a wide smile. "Did I make it on time...?" He muttered under his breath. Hisoka seemed surprised by his actions, his full attention to Gon now. "Is that a fishing rod..?~ Such an interesting weapon. May I perhaps get a closer look at that?~" Hisoka asked, turning his body around to Gon, walking slowly to him, who had gripped onto his fishing rod even tighter. "DAMMIT. YOUR FIGHT IS WITH ME!" Leorio yelled out, earning a punch from Hisoka, and then fell unconscious. 'K.O' I said in my mind. I suddenly zoned out a bit. It was a bad habit I had ever since a few months back after I got hit by a rock that hit my head, being the klutz I am. :)

I then stopped zoning out when I heard Gon being choked. I saw him being choked by Hisoka. "NOT TODAY," I yelled, punching his wrist, which caused him to drop Gon. I stood protectively in front of Gon who was coughing out of his mind. I made a pouting face at Hisoka, clearly mad he did that, and oozed my bloodlust, directing it towards him. He seemed intrigued.

"..Sakura.." Gon muttered, still coughing, then stopping to stare at Hisoka. "Do not worry about your friend, I didn't kill him. He passed~.." He then paused for a bit, giving a closed-eyed smile, causing me to slightly shiver. "Yes, yes, you two pass aswell~ Become good hunters when you're older." He stated until a beeping came from his walky-talky, making Hisoka give a disappointed look.

"Hisoka, we've almost made it to Phase Two. You should come back soon." Stated a robotic voice which was none other than Gittarakur. "I'll be there soon...~" He stated with slight disappointment in his voice. He then got up walking to Leorio to put him over his shoulder. He then starts walking to our right, stopping to look over his shoulder to look at us. "I believe you can make your way back, boy?~" He asked Gon, to which he responded with a slight nod. "..Good~.." He then shifted his gaze towards me.

"Follow me Little Sakura." He stated with a slightly stern voice, making me shiver. 'Why does he want me to follow him...' I thought. I then looked to Gon who had fear shown in his eyes, staring at me. I then turned back to Hisoka. "No thanks. I'm fine, you spider." I said. Hisoka smiled even wider. "Hm~ Alright then," Hisoka replied, before disappearing with Leorio.

Gons POV

I watched silently as Hisoka disappeared into the fog as I sighed in relief, a sudden rush leaving my body. Then, Sakura rushed to my side. "Gon, are you alright? No major injuries?" She asked with worry. I chuckled. "I'm fine Sakura! I swear! Look, I can move my fingers fine, talk normally and do everything I can normally do!" I exclaimed, wiggling my fingers in front of her face. She screeched. "EEP-" She exclaimed, pushing herself away from me as I chuckled. "Hey! Not funny! I just hate things that wiggle like worms! They're icky." She said, spitting out her tongue.

I chuckled. "Gon! Sakura! Are you okay?" I heard Kurapika yell in the distance. Sakura perked up to her brother's voice. "Hey! Kurapika! We're all good!" She exclaimed, smiling. Kurapika caught up to us, then panted tiredly.
