A New Journey ~ OC x KILLUA (Book 1/3) {Discontinued}

ℙ𝕙𝕒𝕤𝕖 𝟚 𝕠𝕗 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕖𝕩𝕒𝕞 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝟟

Not too long after, Gon, Kurapika, and I had finally made it to the next phase. I turned to Hisoka which he replied with a subtle nod and chuckle, then pointed to an unconscious Leorio. "Ah! Leorio!" Exclaimed Gon as we rushed to aid Leorio.

"Ne, Sakura... Hisoka didn't hurt you, did he?" Asked my caring brother, Kurapika. "Nope. Not a scratch." I said with a small smile. "Ugh.." Leorio said, bringing out attention back to him. "..What happened...?" He groaned.

We agreed not to tell him what happened. "Hey, Sakura! Gon!" Yelled a familiar voice. We turned towards the owner of the voice and saw Killua. "Killua!" Gon and I said in unison with a smile. "Man... I thought you two would never make it!" He said. "Hey!" I exclaimed with a playful pout, to which Killua palely blushed. We then giggled, but not long after Satotz decided to interrupt. "We have all made it to the second phase. Since my job here is done, I shall be headed off." He said, disappearing into the slowly lifting fog.

"May the people who passed the first phase come in!" Stated a feminine voice. "Welcome to the second phase! I'm Menchi and this is Buhara." She stated. I gave a subtle smile, looking at all the kitchen equipment. Although Kurapika didn't really let me in the kitchen, I did sometimes use it secretly since I still needed to practice for this phase, even if I had a major chance of not passing. Also, just in case I gotta make food. Who knows, what if I end up getting kidnapped by some god or whatever and get transported into another world? Heh. Oddly specific though.

We then heard a loud rumble which was probably Buhara's stomach. "Are you hungry, Buhara?" Asked Menchi. "I'm not hungry, I'm famished," Buhara stated, patting his stomach like a set of bongo drums. "There you have it! Your challenge will be... Cooking!" Menchi stated with a smile. There were whispers in the crowd, to which then exploded into laughter. I frowned upon this sight, to which Menchi does the same. "Alright, what do you want us to cook?" Somebody asked, still laughing. "Buhara," Menchi said.

"Today you'll be cooking pork!" Buhara stated, causing Menchi to smirk. "There you have it! Your ingredient is pork!" Menchi said. Then, Buhara slapped his stomach, making a 'gong' sound for us to start. People rushed out of there while I just walked out. I then sniffed the air, then ran in the direction the pigs were at, unaware that two certain people were watching me. 

After a minute of running, I then saw a group of pigs chewing on bones. I crouched down, observing them first behind a bush. I looked to the nearest pig and jumped up high, hitting its forehead with the heel of my foot. I then looked around, making sure the pigs didn't hear the loud squeal, to which my surprise, they didn't.

After carrying my pig back to a station, I was the first to arrive back. So, I began prepping my meal.

I decided to go with some subtle techniques the food Soma made from Food Wars where he used honey to help tenderize the meat. I then started chopping my onions whilst cooking the meat in one pan. I also decided to make a salad on the side in case they wanted a little something extra, and also as a refresher. After finishing the meal, I had taken out and cut it into cubes, then setting it aside.

Using the same pan, I had placed my diced onions into the pan, adding a bit of grape juice as well. After finishing the onions, I had started to plate my dish. After cooking and finishing making my dish and plated it, I had made 2 small extras for two people. Kurapika and I. I walked up to Menchi and Buhara with my dish, the smell of my pork in the air, making the applicants stop and stare upwards for a moment to see who had made such a dish, to just see me. "Here's my dish," I stated with a smile, placing my hands behind my back. Menchi stopped to examine my dish first while Buhara had finished it already and gave me a pass, with a wide smile as he licked any remaining pork around his mouth.

Menchi then took a pair of chopsticks to try my dish. Damn, I'm so glad I watched Food Wars and Gordon Ramsay... After she tried my dish, she ate the entire thing like Buhara, causing the applicants to be shocked, then relaxed, thinking this would be easy. "Oh em GEE! This is so delicious!" Menchi stated with happiness. I was kinda shocked since she didn't like the prior applicant's dishes. "You pass!" Menchi stated with a smile, still savoring the taste of my dish.

I gave a smile and bowed with my hands beside me, thanking her. I walked back to my station with a shocked brother. "..How do you know how to cook..." He muttered, making me giggle. I gave him one of the spare dishes for him to try, which he takes to share with the others, to which they also devour the entire thing. I then turned to Hisoka who was beside Gittarakur, staring at the dish in my tiny hands. I just chuckle and devour it in front of him.

Time skip to the blimp ride to The 3rd phase aka Trick Tower

Sakura POV

"Hey let's go explore Killua, Sakura!" Gon stated happily. "Sure," Killua replied. They then turned their attention towards me, asking for an answer. "No thanks, you two. I'm just gonna get a snack then head to sleep for a bit." Giving them an apologetic smile. They both nodded and ran off. "..Man how do those kids have so much energy..?" Leorio asked nobody in particular. I chuckled, heading towards the cafeteria. Though, I got stopped by both Gittarakur and Hisoka standing in my way.

"Pardon me, I'd like to pass through here," I stated, giving a slightly worried smile because of Gittarakur. "I just have a question, though, Little Flower~" Hisoka stated with a hand on his hip. I slightly tilted my head. "What would you do if I told my 'acquaintance' about a little secret you have?" I then slightly furrowed my eyebrows. "What secret?" I snapped. "Reincarnations a wonderful thing, isn't it?" He questioned. My eyes widen. He chuckled. "No need to widen your eyes so much to the point they bulge out of their sockets, Sakura."

"Well, I'm just going to head over and grab a snack," I stated, trying to motion for me to go through them. I then felt two different arms placed on my shoulders. "I enjoy your company though, Little Flower~" Hisoka stated, smiling. Gittarakur just rattled in response. I gulped. "Do try your best to not get lost. Though, I'd doubt that you would lose us. Try learning how to conceal your Nen better, dearest." Hisoka cooed, giggling.

Upon entering the room, there was an awkward silence until I heard the sound of needles being removed, and the door closing behind me. Hisoka and I turned to Gittarakur, whose face was transforming. "That's kinda weird to see in person," I cringed, earning a chuckle from Hisoka. "Though it interests Hisoka," I mumbled, looking at Hisoka, who now had both hands on his hips. What do I do now that I'm with these two until we reach Trick Tower?

"Ah, much better." Stated a monotone voice. I turned to see Illumi with his silky black hair. I eyed his hair for a split second before turning to Hisoka, who walked to the nearest corner and started making a card tower. "So why'd you wanna bring me here?" I asked Hisoka. "You know Machi, correct?~" He asked. "Yes, I do. The pink haired female that uses nen stitches." I stated, looking at him. "Well, I've told her about you, though, not your secret~" He stated. I just stared at him and furrowed my brows. "Why did you tell her about me?" I asked. He stayed silent and focused on his card tower. I just sighed before turning to Illumi and seeing a needle in his hand.

"How often do you clean your needle collection Illumi?" I asked Illumi. He just turned to look at me, suprised at how Hisoka and I was actually telling the truth about how I knew his identity and the secret. He just looked away in response before slightly flicking the needle in between his finger. "Yeah, uh, I'm kinda getting vibes that you wanna insert that needle in my head." I stated, slowly inching away from Illumi.

Hisoka chuckled, still building his tower. "Anyways, uhh. I'll just exit the room and head to my own room?" I stated, trying to head for the door, until I felt something stop me. I sighed and used gyo, seeing Hisoka's bungee gum. "Bungee Gum had the properties of both rubber and gum." I stated looking at Hisoka. He smirked in response. "I'm guessing I can't leave." To which they both nod. I just sighed and decided to go to sleep, still standing. A skill I have learnt while being here to scare the living daylight out of my brother.

As I dozed off, I could hear the faint noise of amused chuckling from non other than the magician in the room, who was on the phone with a known pink haired female, who was interested in the female who stood still sleeping that Hisoka has mentioned through their messages.
