Dream x Reader pt 1

Chapter 25

"Hero or Villain ..."

Y/n sat there with a cigarette in her hand and a beer in other hand , Dream walked in quietly but Y/n didn't notice because she was to focus on the beer and the cigarette . Y/n recently had found out that Dream had murdered her little brother , tears stained her face and her eyes were puffy and red . Dream on the other hand was getting closer to her ..

"What are you doing, dear? Aren't you tired?"

Y/n scoffed and turned around to face Dream , her own boyfriend ...

"What are you doing here? I don't think that you were invited. "

Y/n glared at Dream with hate because of him she had become a person that most people feared ...

"Here you go again, pretending like you love me..."

More tears threatened to spill out of her eyes ...

"When just under the surface, you're convinced that you're above me."

As she said that Dream's eyes had gone wide but he held out of his hand carefully so Y/n can drop the things and take his hand...

"Dig deep, into the past, I've never been one for doing things half-assed.If I'm here to save you, I'll be here forever."

As he held his hand out for her she scoffed and took another drink of her beer ...

"Take my hand, I can be your knight in shining armor!"

As Y/n heard this she scoffed and laughed , she then threw the beer bottle across the room ...

"You think you're a hero! And they'll tell you you are ."

Dream dropped his hand to the side ...

"So stoic and handsome! And you've come so far!"

Y/n laughed as if it was a joke after she had said what she had said ..but Dream then walked over to her and cupped her face in his hands ..

"You think you're a villain .But I know you're not! Under all that angst and anger..."

Y/n and Dream both opened their mouths ...

"Is a beating human heart/Is a dying broken heart .."

Y/n threw his hands to his side and rolled her eyes...

"Hey, what about the lonely little girls..."

"I'm sorry !"

"What about her monsters who prevailed?"

"I'm sorry !"

More tears fell from her eyes as she walked to the other side of the room where she kept her belongings...

"You never came to save my world !"

Dream started to feel regret .....

"What about me?! / what about us !?"

Dream then decided to face his "girlfriend.."

"I recognize that you're upset I know they did you wrong "

Y/n scoffed and rolled her eyes

" Oh you know nothing of me ! "

Dream walked over to her and grabbed her wrist ...

"But trust me please believe me this won't stop the hurt for long ..We don't need to end like this, look me in the eyes.."

Y/n yanked her hand away from him ..and scoffed ..

"Here comes the hero complex..."

Dream placed his hand back on her cheek so she could look at him...

"You call yourself a villain but we know it's a disguise..."

Y/n removed his hand from her once again and took a photo of Tommy ...

"I know I'm the villain, but you're the one who lies..."

Y/n's eyes had turned a deep dark red as she was filled with more anger ...

"SO! You're back at it again? Twisting and manipulating every word I've said?"

Y/n held a black skull in her hand as she backed up to almost completed Wither ...Dream then walked up to her and held his hand out..

"C'mon you know that's not true I'm just trying to help you, let me help you!"

Y/n finally snapped and yelled...

"You are NOT MY HERO ! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW IT FELT

WHAT ELSE COULD YOU DO WITH THE CARDS THAT I'VE BEEN DEALT!"

It went silent for a couple of minutes but Dream finally spoke..as he crouched down to the girl...

"You are not the villain, You once held my hand..."

She rolled her eyes...

"Stand up. Get out. Sometimes things don't go as planned."

Y/n then held her hand that held the skull and placed it on the Wither ...

"Run..."

Y/n walked away from the destruction that was now happening , as she got to her safe place she slid down the wall and looked at the photo of her little brother ...

"It's okay Tommy ...I'll bring you back...then ..you'll get all the revenge that you want..."

Y/n got up and walked to one of her rooms ..and laying there on a table was Tommy...she smiled sadly . Y/ walked over to his body and kissed his forehead , a tear fell from her eye and when it fell it had fallen onto Tommy's face .

Y/n then pulled out the totem of undying and placed it in his hands , she smiled sadly but she needed more than one . More tears fell from her eyes but as she cried ...

"Why are you crying ...?"
