Ghostbur/Wilbur x Reader

Chapter 31

"The Mermaid ..."

(this is going to be a female reader and you're almost the same age as wilbur, just a year younger)

Y/n swam around with Niki as she talked about how the "world" above the water is better , Y/n sighed sadly because Niki had legs ..she didn't have a tail like she did . Niki then pulled out a lead ...

"AND THIS IS A LEAD !"

Y/n's eyes then quickly had stars in them , Niki handed her the lead so she could inspect it closely . Y/n "swung" it around in the water because she became amazed easily ....

"Wait Y/n follow me ."

Niki and Y/n both swam near the surface where Niki kept her things , Niki poked her little head out of the water to see her chest right there . Niki then poked her head back under the water and motioned Y/n to swim up the surface a bit .

Y/n did as she was told and poked her head out of the water ...

"And this is fire."

Niki pulled out a torch and lit it up , as the fire crackled a bit Y/n had stars in her eyes again . She lifted her hand out of the water only to bring it close to the fire but as she almost touched it ....

"You might not wanna touch it ."

Y/n seen a face that was in front of her and it wasn't her friend Niki . Y/n let out a scream of surprise , Niki also got surprised and she accidentally dropped the light source into the water. As Y/n floated down to the bottom she saw the torch also floating down , Y/n grabbed the burnt out torch and grabbed it ..

Niki on the other hand dunked her head under water only to resurface to scold Wilbur for scaring her poor friend .

"She could have burned her little hand ."

Niki face palmed and swam down only to still see her friend in a small state of shock , Niki smiled a bit as she noticed her friend was clinging onto the burnt out torch ...Soon enough Y/n pulled herself together and handed the burnt out torch back to Niki , the mermaid swam to a little place which held her trident ....

The mermaid grabbed it and swam back up quickly only to see the sad ghostly man sitting...or levitating ...off the dock area . Y/n sighed quietly and swam towards the ghost man ...

"Hello.."

Y/n looked at the ghost man as she said hello in a ....somewhat quiet voice , the ghost man looked up to see the mermaid staring right at him . The ghost man examined her (chubby, slim...etc..) face to see if she was going to try something , but from what he can notice ...was that she didn't mean no harm ....

"You okay..?"

The mermaid tilted her head to the side only to examine his ghostly face...but when she examined him more she had noticed....a trail of blood gliding across his torso area , but when she looked back up she noticed his eyes were now a ghostly white with blue tear trails rolling down his face .

Y/n pulled her hand out from under the water only to try to glide it across his face but instead of that happening her hand had gone through his face , small stars appeared in her eyes again as she noticed her hand had gone through him . The girl cracked a smile as she was easily amazed by her hand going through the ghost , she laughed which caused the ghost to smile .

As she had realized the ghost was staring into her eyes she pulled her hand away from his face due to embarrassment , she placed her hand back in the water only to remember she was holding a trident .

Y/n pulled the trident out of the water and placed it in front of Ghostbur , she had a smile on her face as she watched examine the item a bit . Wilbur lifted his head up in confusion but as he was going to hand it back to the girl ..

"No that's for you ."

Y/n smiled lightly as the ghost was surprised , soon enough the ghost had handed her little blue things ..

She tilted her head to the side a bit...

"That blue, when you get sad the blue will take you sadness and in the end you can throw it or keep it ."

The mermaid held the blue close to her chest as she smiled at him...

Wilbur coughed (he came back to life) as he waved the smoke away from his face , he opened his eyes slowly to see Tommy and the others looking at him . Tommy started to smile , Tubbo started to get a bit emotional and Fundy was crying ...

On the other hand the mermaid was being carried by Eret , Eret looked down at the mermaid only to see that they were confused and scared .

"Where's ...where's ghost...?"

Y/n looked around only to spot a man almost similar to Ghostbur , her eyes watered as she saw the man turn his attention to her . Wilbur saw that she was crying and he looked at the thing she wore around her neck only to see a blue heart .

Y/n looked up at Eret only to see that they were already looking at her ...

"I'm sorry-"

Eret couldn't keep her in place due to her moving around , they had accidentally let go of the mermaid only for her to hit the ground .

Niki was about to run to her friend to throw water on her but Wilbur was already on it , he had taken the bucket from Niki and ran to the mermaid .

Wilbur knelt down to the mermaids level only to see that their skin already seemed to be drying up , he lightly poured the water down on the mermaid which caused her skin to become wet again but ..what people were not noticing was that Dream was slowly walking out of the area .

The mermaid noticed and used the leftover water to make a water based trident , she threw it at Dream only for his body to be pinned against the wall ...

Wilbur looked back at the mermaid who just wore a blank expression ....

Wilbur sat in the water with the mermaid only for him to start remembering some of the things ghost him did with the mermaid , he laughed and smiled as she cracked jokes here and there . Y/n on the other hand was still hurt that her ghost left but ...at least she got to meet the real person...
