Chapter 57

"The new member."

Niki walked around with a small child in her hands, she smiled at them as she gently started to caress their small face. It was a new day and today was the day Techno was coming back, she was quite nervous since she hadn't told Ranboo, Phil, that she had found a small child. As she packed all the things that she needed she carefully placed Y/n into the basket, she hoped she wouldn't be judged as she left her home.

As she walked through the snow she tried to think of a way to tell them about little Y/n, she was way too nervous to even mention it well since she knew Techno might dislike Y/n because they were an orphan. But as she continues to make her way, she thought, isn't everyone on the SMP an orphan? So no judgment there right? She shook her head lightly and she saw the home of Phil and a small smile appeared on her face, she just hoped Phil would have an understanding.

As she got closer she saw how the tall enderman boy waved to her with a smile, but as she continued to walk she felt the basket move just a bit, she quickly shot a small little glare at the basket so she wouldn't be seen as suspicious. Niki finally arrived and sat the basket on the table gently hoping Y/n wouldn't start crying.

"Hey, Niki."

Niki looked away from the basket and saw Ranboo next to her, smiling at Ranboo.

"Hello, Ranboo."

Silence took the air after the greetings but the silence was broken by a small little whimper that came from the basket, Ranboo looked at Niki with a questionable look, Niki on the other hand had felt her hand go clammy.

"What was that?"

Ranboo seems to know because he babysits or takes care of his son multiple times, Ranboo lightly tapped her shoulder.

"Is there a child in there?"

Niki's face paled and nodded slowly, Ranboo smiled a bit as he opened the little basket, when he did he saw a beautiful baby. Their features seemed beautiful, he noticed the little clothes on them and he gently picked up the baby. The baby looked at Ranboo with a curious expression, the baby lightly placed their hand on Ranboos face.

"Hey.."

Niki looked at the two and she smiled, but once she heard the door open she looked back at the house to see Techno and Phil walking out of the house, when she looked back at the table she felt her legs go numb as she quickly fixed the table cloth. As she heard the footsteps of Phil and Techno coming closer she heard.

"Who's the kid mate?"

Ranboo laughed softly and shrugged.

"They're Niki's kid."

Phil nodded as he got closer to Ranboo, as Phil placed his hand on the child's little hand his eyes had gone white. Niki seems to know what's going to happen...

Screaming can be heard, smoke can be smelt in the air, everything bad seemed to happen in the small village, people in black coats terrorized the people's home. A person's screaming can be heard, the parents who were hiding with their child saw a young child being dragged in the center of the circle where the deceased people laid at. The mother covered her mouth as she saw the young child being held against their will with an arrow pointed at their chest.

"Maria, they got Flowers..."

The lady looked at her wife as she slowly uncovered her mouth, Maria looked at her wife and hugged her for the last time.

"I love you, Cass..."

Maria said in a whisper to her wife...

"We'll meet again, yes?"

Cass asked as they both pulled back, Maria nodded and kissed her wife for the last time, when they pulled away once again they both looked at their child. Y/n cooed at them with a small smile, Cass started to tear up knowing what had to be done. Maria quickly took the baby as Cass sat there crying and ran down to the basement of their home, Maria got to one of the safe corners that might have been a perfect hiding spot.

"y/n...oh Y/n, your mother and I love you very much...and I know it's too early for us to leave you at such a young age but I promise you we'll come to get you..."

Y/n laughed and smiled at their mother, Maria broke down crying as she placed her hand on the child's head. Using all her might her power came in and turned her baby to stone, freezing them as a baby, but the door to the basement broke down and the last thing that could be heard was the scream from Maria...

Phil pulled his hand away from Y/n only to have a shocked look, he was speechless...

"I...I could've..."

Niki sighed and nodded, Techno read the room clearly since he figured it was something not to be taken as a small joke.

"Flower's?"

Niki nodded ...

"Turns out they came from the same place Flower's...or Tommy's (mom/dad/guardian) came from..."

Phil's heart dropped, why wasn't he told about Y/n...why didn't his wife tell him...

Techno slowly walked to Ranboo and held his hands out, Ranboo held Y/n out slightly and let Techno take them, as Techno held the child close he saw something in their eyes. The voices in Techno's head started to talk, whispers were the only thing that he could hear...

Techno smiled slightly at the child and hugged them close, Y/n seemed to remind him of someone that he meant in his past life...

"Welcome...the new member.."

Techno held Y/n up carefully, all Niki felt was relieved she didn't feel judged or anything in any way, she is just glad little Y/n got accepted rather quickly. Y/n on the other hand was shining with joy and squirming around happily in the arms of Techno...

I hope you enjoyed it, sorry for the spelling mistakes along with not uploading a new chapter. I've been working on a different book that involves Spiderman and I've been working on three of the same books but with different pronouns, for example, in the one, I'm working on right now the reader goes by she/her and the other two are going by he/him and they/them. So that's what kept me a bit busy, I just wanted to make three books that have the same plotline but different pronouns so that anyone can read it.

I will probably take a break from writing that story and come back to this one and write more so I'm very sorry for the people who've been waiting for an update.
