Nott ran down the stairs of Hogwarts with a plan spinning around in his head. Everyone knew the only thing Diggory liked more than his women was Quidditch, and Nott had an idea to hopefully get him away from Evangeline before Tom Avada Kedavra both of their asses. Nott shot down the South corridor and towards Black Lake.

" James! James!" Nott shouted once he got outside. He watched both heads of Evangeline Potter and James Diggory turn to look at him. Evangeline had a soft smile on her facet that disappeared once she saw the panic face of Nott. Though the panic was for is he couldn't complete getting James away from Evangeline and not of the suppose problem he has to bother James with. " O-on the -Ppitch. The Brooms-shed is on f-fi-fire" Nott faked panted, he hunched over, placing his hands on his knees and breathed heavily

" What!" Diggory yelled, his hands going straight to his long, gelled back, brown hair. His hair, for whatever reason, bothered Evangeline. She felt like it always looked wet. " Nott! How the hell did that happen. Wha-" he trailed off, trying not to explode in front of Evangeline. " I-i gotta go." he stammered. Not waiting for Evangeline response, he ran off. Glaring at Nott who had a small smirk on his face.

" Bye!" Evan called after the boy, but it was pointless as he was already inside and running down the hallways. She turned towards Nott, " Hello" she smiled.

Nott paled at the Golden Haired Beauty started talking to him. Tom made it every clear to each and every one of his knights that Evangeline Potter was off limits until said otherwise. Now, Nott and Evangeline being alone together he had no idea what to do. On one hand he didn't want to be rude to the kind Hufflepuff but he wasn't sure if that was worth a getting Crucio for.

Evangeline then suddenly laughed at the pure terror on Nott's face, " That's alright. You can go if you're worried about the Broomshed. I'm sure most of the boys in Hogwarts are out on the pitch by now. " She then started to bend down and pick up at her things that she had laid out for studying.

Nott locked towards the tower, seeing if he go and help the small, cold girl. Tom stared back down at him, as much as he wanted to shake his head and force Nott back inside and have Tom help instead. Ne knew by then she would already be done and inside and that he was right there and could help. So Tom reluctantly nodded his head and watched as the small blacked hair boy went toward Evangeline and helped her with her stuff.

" You're a friend of Tom Riddle's right?" Evangeline asked once her stuff had put back neatly in her bag and was now standing in front of the boy.

" U-um well, you c-could say that" agreed the boy and nodded his head. His eyed going to Tom every once in awhile making sure he wasn't crossing his boundaries. " W-why do you ask?" he questioned. Of course, he knew that Tom liked to torture Evangeline. Hell! Everyone at Hogwarts knew.

Evangeline gently tucked a hair behind her ear, " Well, could you tell him to meet here tomorrow night at eleven." She asked quickly, slightly embarrassed that she had to ask his friend, " Please" she swiftly added. She glanced down at her shoes, trying to hide the growing red that was starting to take over her face and neck.

A huge smile took over Nott's face, he knew Tom would be in a good mood until tomorrow and was excited that they weren't going to have to deal with a pissy Tom. " Oh, of course" he nodded his head and gave her a thumbs up that made her laugh. " Well, I'm going to go check on the Broomshed. he jabbed his thumb behind him and pointed to the castle.

" Yeah, sure." Evangeline waved as she watched Nott walk away. Once he was clearly gone, Evangeline sat right back down. Leaning against the tree. Truth be told James Diggory did nothing for his pounding head ache and his surprising high voice manged to annoy her to no end.

Evangeline began to hum a tune her mother would hum whenever Evangeline didn't feel well when she was younger. " That is a lovely tune you are humming" A voice said from behind. Evangeline's heart picked up at the voice as she knew too well how it belonged to.

" Yes, my mother use to sing it to me whenever I was down" stated the Hufflepuff, still looking at the beautiful lake in front of her. " The song is called Green Eyes by Jimmy Dorsey, if you ever wanted to listen to it" She added.

" And listen to a Muggle song. No thank you" The harshness of the voice as it spit out the word 'Muggle' shocked Evangeline. She knew he grew up around them, you would think he was more comfortable with them instead of Wizards.

" You say that as Muggles are disgusting and are frowned upon" she countered as she felt him take a seat besides her. She glanced from the corner of her eye at him. His head was messy but still seemed to be perfectly shaped. She had also noticed that his robes always seemed a little faded compared to some of his Pureblood friends.

" Well, they should be" claimed Tom. Nodding to himself as if he was agreeing with what he had just said, " Muggles should bow down to us, we are the superior race." he calmly exclaimed.

" Why are we the superior race, why aren't they." Evangeline asked, not understanding Tom's hatred for the cute little Muggles that Evangeline seemed to love.

" Evie, I'm quite sure you understand this. But we are the ones with Magic, not them. Therefore superior." Tom then stood and held a hand out for Evangeline. Her not thinking slipped her hand into his much larger, warm hands.

" That's Merlin's shit, Tom" stated Evangeline. Gathering herself and her stuff. Walked towards the Castle. " just because we have something they don't doesn't mean there dirt." Evangeline was so focused on their conversation she didn't even realize neither of them let go from holding the other's hand. For whatever reason both of them felt so nature that it didn't even occur to them they were still holding hands.

" I guess this is another conversation for another time, Evie" stated Tom as he wasn't in the mood to explain why Wizards were better and simply wanted to leave the topic. Evan shrugs not really wanting to get in a full on debate about Muggles and how they were better.
