Everyone was so excited especially considering that their bestfriend was hopefully going to have a boyfriend by the end of the night.
Tana was especially excited,she just wants bailey to be happy.she wants her to be happy,after everything that happened with Levi but Tana was having a hard time,keeping it a secret.there was so many times when Tana nearly slipped up but luckily someone else was in the room to get her to stop talking.
right now, Bailey was getting ready for new years but she couldn't help but think about how everyone was so secretive ever since they got to Miami and she can't help but also think something is going to happen,but she really wanted to have a good night.
Jack walked into Bailey,finishing putting her earrings on in the mirror.he just stared at her,non creepily,but he was always amazed by her,even when she is wearing a hoodie and sweats.
Bailey-"mh,hey there"
Jack-"hey,gorgeous"
Jack walked over to Bailey and wrapped his arms around her waist and smiled to her in the mirror.Bailey smiled back and turned around to face him.
Bailey-"are you excited for tonight?"
Jack-"yeah,and a bit nervous"
Bailey was confused by what he meant by that and he mentally cussed for nearly slipping up.
Bailey-"what are u nervous about?"
Jack-"uh,nothing,nothing. just nervous about Jake getting really drunk to be honest"
he mentally cussed again for coming up with a lame excuse.
Bailey-"well,honestly me too. you do not know what it's like when Jake is drunk.cmon" bailey chuckled and then walked out,downstairs.

it was around 23:45,meaning it was nearly 2021. Bailey was glad for 2020 to be over,i mean she was glad that 2020 was better that 2019 but 2020 wasn't the best year she thought she had.then again,she did have a lot of her best memories.
there was when she moved in with Bryce,Josh,Anthony,Kio,Jaden and Griffin and they called their little group the sway house. there was also playlist,playlist wasn't the best but at least Bryce asking her out basically the day they got back made up for it.
then there was the bad things...
like July 6th...
Levi...
and her falling outs with sway and hype
but the good really good thing is that she is leaving the toxic people in 2020 and not bringing them in 2021.
for jack,it was now 23:49,meaning that is was only 12 minutes until midnight and he was going to ask the girl out that he has admittedly falling for. to say he was nervous was an understatement,i mean even though it was a kiss and a question,he couldn't help but think that he is taking things too fast.
as it was getting closer to midnight,everyone in the house was all gathering in to the living room. Bailey was standing next to Tana when she saw Jack. she walked over to him and smiled.
Bailey-"hey"
Jack-"hey bails.it's close to midnight"
Bailey-"yup.u excited for the new year?"
Jack-"definitely.i get to spend it with you"
they both grinned at each other.

fireworks went off,people screaming and kissing.
Bailey and jack looked at each other and grinned, they kissed and they pulled away.
Jack-"will you be my girlfriend?" Jack whispered
Bailey was shocked that he asked the question but also really happy.
but what was she thinking? will it be yes or...?
