"No...No... Not now... I didn't want this! Why are you here?! Why now!" I screamed, tears running down my face as my cheeks began to turn red with anger. My heart felt like a steam train, running away with itself as it went along the tracks. The differences is the train could run away. I'm stuck here.
"Trust me Princess, I didn't want this to happen as much as you." He snapped. His piercing green eyes sending daggers my way.
"Then leave! Forget you found me! Move back to where you came from and leave me alone!" My tears were unstoppable. Each drop hitting the floor as quick as the last. My mind was screaming at me to get away from him. "Never let anyone in Echo. Run. Run now." But my heart made my feet stick in place. I could feel my brand burning, radiating along my arm. The pull beggging me to just run into his arms and beg him to never let me go.
"I can't...You know I can't..." He whispered. His eyes darting to my face before lowering to the floor.
"Please! Please... I'm begging you, Let me go." I begged, my voice breaking. His head shot up at the pain in my voice and I could see his fingers unwillingly twitch, his body wanting him to comfort me. I bet his brand is burning just as much as mine.
"I can't Echo! If I do then you die! I can't let that happen!" His eyes burned into my very core, becoming more wild with every word.
"But..."
"But what?!" He screamed taking a step towards me. My eyes automatically fall to the floor, but I force them up, taking in every inch of his face,
"But..But what if I want to die?"
