Y/N POV:
Shadis was currently shouting at a boy with blonde hair who seemed really familiar, but you couldn't put your finger on who he was.
"You, mop top. What do they call you maggot?" Shadis asked the blonde boy.
"Armin Arlert from Shiganshina sir!" The boy named Armin replied.
"What parents would name their kid such a STUPID name!" Shadis yelled at the boy which made you laugh a little.
"It was my grandfather sir!" Armin replied at the comment of his name.
"Cadet Arlert, why is a runt like you here?" Shadis asked the small boy.
"To help humanity over come the Titans!" Armin yelled.
"That's delightful, you'll be a good snack for them." Shadis told the boy as he spun him 180 degrees.
Shadis continued yelling at the poor cadets that were noticed by him. You noticed that he was passing people like Annie, but I would too from her cold gaze she always had. Shadis was now currently scolding a small boy with a shaved head whose name was Connie. He was getting scolded by Shadis for having his salute the wrong way even though that wa s the first thing we were taught. He picked him up by his head and was yelling at him until everyone heard a loud crunch.
Everyone was quiet as they turned their head towards the person who made that crunch. You turned over and on your row was a girl who was holding a potato. Shadis dropped Connie as he started to talk to the girl.
"Hey you there, what are you doing?" Shadis asked the girl.
The girl looked around confused before proceeding to take another bite of it completely ignoring Shadis talking to her. This caused Shadis to came at her at a blur with a pissed off face.
"YOU ARE OFFICIALLY ON MY SHIT LIST, WHO ARE YOU." Shadis yelled at the girl.
The girl quickly swallowed the piece of the potato she had and responded to Shadis.
"Sasha Blouse from Damper Village at your service sir!" Sasha replied at the instructor.
"Sasha Blouse huh? What is that you're holding in your right hand?" Shadis asked.
"A steamed potato sir! It sat there in the mess hall begging to be eaten sir!" Sasha replied.
"The thief I understand, but here? Why here of all places? Shadis asked Sasha.
"It looked delicious sir. It was starting to get cold so I gave it shelter in my stomach sir." Sasha replied.
"Why? I can't comprehend why you would eat that potato." Shadis asked.
"Are you asked me why people eat potato's sir? I'm surprised you don't know." Sasha replied.
You were shocked at this. How can one person be this stupid at a place like this? Everyone else was as shocked as you on her reply to the instructor. Sasha then proceeded to tear off a piece of the potato and handed it towards the instructor.
"Here sir have half." Sasha said even though the piece she gave wasn't even half.
"Have half really?" Shadis said grabbing the piece and looking at Sasha.
Sasha then smiled stupidly at the instructor after giving him the potato. Shadis then yelled at the potato girl to run. Sasha quickly broke from the row and ran just like how the instructor told her. Shadis proceeded to go on with yelling at other people. Although, everyone couldn't stop thinking about that potato incident.
You were currently watching Sasha still running as the other buys were talking about the incident. Although you weren't paying attention to what they were saying what got you hooked on what they were saying is that a boy named Eren said he was from Shiganshina just like Armin. Connie then looked amazed at Eren and asked him if he saw the Colossal Titan.
"Yeah I did see him." Eren replied at Connie's question. He was calm about it which was surprising.
Word quickly spread on how Eren was there that day Shiganshina was destroyed. Everyone was crowding Eren in the mess hall as he bragged about everything that day. You were sitting with Reiner a table away from Eren as you both were listening to him. A cadet asked Eren if he's seen the Colossal Titan
"Yeah I did see the big guy." Eren replied calmly.
People then started saying how they heard he was big enough to step over the wall. Eren said he was only big enough for people to see his head over the wall. Everyone around him then asked about the Armored Titan who broke Wall Maria.
"That's what everyone's calling it? It just seemed like another Titan to me." Eren said calmly. How could he say that, was he enjoying the attention, was he even from Shiganshina? You asked yourself this.
"What about normal Titans? What were they like?" A cadet asked Eren. For some reason this caused Eren to stop being all cool and instead he stopped.
"So a normal Titan is what makes you stop eh?" You thought feeling bad for him. We caused this pain for those people
Eren then dropped the spoon he was holding and it fell onto the food he was eating as he covered his mouth. Everyone looked at him in confusion until a boy named Marco spoke.
"That's enough questions we shouldn't make it relive that hell he saw that day." Marco said. However, Eren recovered from the question and started talking about how if they just master the ODM gear then they'll get payback on those Titans.
"What a suicidal bastard." You thought after hearing him say that. Eren then said that he'll join the scouts just so he can kill those Titans, he wanted to send them to hell. Another boy, Jean heard him say that and proceeded to call him suicidal which is true. They both argued a bit until Jean stopped and Eren started to leave. A black haired girl whose name is Mikasa if you remembered correctly started to following him.
"Does she always follow him?" You thought as you always noticed her following Eren all the time. Jean tried to be a flirt with her but she completely didn't care and continued to follow Eren. You stared at your drink as you processed everything Eren said.
"Hopefully that doesn't make Bertolt feel terrible about himself." You thought looking at Bertolt who looked saddened.
