He had known what they where there for before they'd even spoke. A group a men in the outfit of the royal guard and weapons in hand. They'd come for Lionheart, weather to kill or capture he was unsure, but they where here for her that much was clear.
"I told you, I'm here for the girl, not you. All you have to do is hand her over," the man in front, who Paddy had could ascertain as the leader, spoke.
Paddy put on that charming smile he's known for, something full of so much tenderness that it didn't match him tone. "And I told you, over my dead boy."
The man steps forward, "What stake do you have in this, gypsy? It'd be better to hand her over to the king."
Paddy's smile contorted, showing his anger and madness, "What stake do I have?" With a wave of his hand undead broke through the ground. "Sparrow and Lionheart are MY kids! That's what stake I fucking have." He walks forward, his revolver already in hand. "And I'll tell ye what I told yer king!" His anger always brought out his accent, which has always been what gave way the fact he's not from Albion. "I'll watch this bloody world burn before I let any of ye harm my children! Hell, I'll sooner burn the damn thing! I'll play the fuckin bad guy if I have to!"
The group begin to back off, horrified of the red haired man still approaching them. "What are you?"
"Me?" He laughed all to darkly for such a cheery man. "I'm a hero, like them." He moves the gun to point it at the man. "Skill and will, don't ye know."
He despatchers most of the group in the blink of an eye, leaving one man alive. "Now, ye run back the the king like a good little dogy." Now his smile was much more wicked than the one he previously wore. "And tell him, he's fucked with the wrong man. And ol Paddy'll stop at nothin ta see him dead!"
With that the man stumbles to his feet, running away.
