The sky was painted in warm reds and oranges, Alexandra was in the Half Realm as per usual. She stood in front of a man with deep crimson hair and eyes and a symbol for fire on his for head. Her look dared him to speak, as the light breeze blew her sea blue hair some of it going into her aquamarine eyes.

The man stood up straighter, show his pride. "I was a king!" He bellowed, spitting at the girl's feet.

She smiled at him, her eyes sad and yet full of mischief. "And I was a god." For a long movement,  there was only the sound of the wind. She had almost began to think he hadn't heard.

"No," he mutter, having finally processed the words. "You're just some girl, the child of a foreigner. Lexa, don't lie to me child." He had grown frustrated.

"That's what I've told people. In truth, I'm one of the fallen gods," her voice portrayed her sorrow. "One of the children of the sun and moon."

It was a story all had heard at some point, most thought it was a mere story for children. But with all Hao had seen he believed her. "Then which?"

"Alexandra."

"The goddess of protection?"

She nodded to him. He froze. The woman he'd always been so rude to was the goddess his ancestors had worshipped? How could that be? Did she know? "D-did you?" He couldn't even get the full question out before she took a step forward.

"I did, my dear. You're family still worshiped me after I fell." She looked truly miserable. "And yet I have nothing in my power that I could grant them. Not even my protection..."

He felt as though someone pulled the ground from beneath him, and she looked as if she was about to cry. He move his hand towards her, wanting to comfort her, but pulled it back. He didn't know how she'd take it. "Why?"

She look down shamefully, "Grandfather took our powers after Mitsuki left the temple. All of our sparks are fading, our worlds are fading and there's nothing we can do." She took in a harsh breath. "And it all HIS fault!" Her voice had something to it he'd never heard from her. Something he had thought she lacked. Hatred. No matter how curl someone had been to her, she'd never show hate towards anyone. He thought her to be some innocent child incapable of hate. But this was pointed at one of her siblings.

He was taken aback. "But why did he leave?"

The smile she gave him told him he wouldn't get the answer to that any time soon.
