Blue Moon

TW: minor fighting, arguing

The dark oak door creaked as it was slowly pushed open. The smell of burning bacon swam through the air. Footsteps stomped through the kitchen as Marie peered inside.

"Hey Mom...Dad...I'm home." Marie spoke quietly and hesitantly stepped into her house.

"WHY ARE YOU EVEN LIKE THIS MARK? YOU FUCKED ANOTHER WOMAN AND CAME BACK TO SAY THAT I'M THE ONE CAUSING THE PROBLEMS?"

Marie winced. She crept up the stairs to her room and swiftly locked the door and stuffed a towel underneath the space between the floor and the door to keep the yells out, as if she had practice. Which, she did.

Marie sighed. Another lovely day of my parents being assholes to each other. And it's only been a week since school ended.

She changed into a white tank and shorts, let her hair down and plopped onto her bed. "Let's see who will be my comfort streamer today." Marie pulled out her phone and opened the Twitch app.

"Guess I'll watch Tommy for a bit."

Marie propped up her phone on her desk and turned the volume up. She started picking up trash and cleaning around her room while listening.

"Heyyy chat, so you know that I met up with Tubbo yesterday." Tommyinnit said through Marie's phone speakers. 

"Oh, Tommy met up with Tubbo? Cool." Marie said out loud as she folded her clothes.

"And that little bitch boy," Tommy said.

Marie giggled.

"...decided to make me talk to a fuckin woman."

"Ohhh boy. Haha!" Marie glanced at her phone and saw Tommy's angry face. 

"But! we are going to not remember that moment and instead listen to some music and play minecraft." Tommy said.

"Guess I'll listen to some too." Marie replied. She muted the stream and decided to play Blue Moon by khai dreams. 

"Are you lonely in the space that you've made only for yourself? Du du, du, du." Marie sang along to song and closed her eyes. She danced in front of the mirror and sang softly to herself. A warm gust of wind caressed her face, and soft warm tingles traveled up her legs into her hands and face. Red and blue lines appeared again, fading in and out in front of her and the mirror. The song ended, and Marie opened her eyes again. 

She saw herself in the mirror and continued to clean her room. She unmuted the stream and saw that the entire chat was freaking out. 

"WHAT HAPPENED"

"TOMMY WHAT DID YOU SEE IN THE MIRROR TELL US"

"guys wtf is happening i just joined and tommy is freaking out about a mirror why"

"What happened?" Marie asked herself. 

"UM. UH. OKAY UM. GUYYYSSS THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WATCHING THE STREAM SEE YOU LATER BYE!" Tommy said with a confusing look on his face. 

"Huh?" Marie was confused.

The broadcast you are watching has ended. 

"What the heck? Why did Tommy just end the stream? He just started." Marie sat down and stared at the grey screen on her phone. 

"I'm checking Twitter." She said.

Tommyinnit tweeted: Hey guys sorry the stream ended early but tomorrow ill do a lore stream!

Tubbo replied to Tommyinnit's tweet: What happened?

Karl Jacobs replied to Tubbo: Tommy needs to touch some grass :D

BadBoyHalo replied to Tommyinnit's tweet: Are you ok Tommy?

"What...happened?" Marie went back to Twitch and watched the saved livestream video.

"But! we are going to not remember that moment and instead listen to some music and play minecraft." The livestream replayed on Marie's screen. 

"I'm gonna play Blue Moon by khai dreams because they are pog CHAMP!" Tommy said in the replay. 

"That's...the same song I listened to." Marie shook it off and continued watching the replay. 

"Are you lonely in the space that you've made only for yourself? Du du, du-"

Tommy cut himself off and stared with wide eyes to the left of his room. 

"What is he looking at?" Marie asked herself.

"What...is that...the mirror..." Tommy mumbled to himself while looking at his mirror with his eyes wide open. 

What? Why- how was he listening to the same song as me? And why was he looking at his mirror?

Marie turned off her phone and stood up to walk across her room. She opened her bedroom door. 

A loud bang echoed through the house.
