Courage

Tommy fell onto his bed and sighed. "She's really nice." 

Toby looked over at Tommy and raised his eyebrows. "You know bruv, I've never seen you like this before."

Tommy propped himself up on his elbows. "What do you mean?" 

"I've never seen you this interested in a girl before." Toby replied. 

Tommy frowned and threw a pillow at him. "Oh, shut up." 

Toby giggled and threw the pillow back. 

"We might just be like...platonic soulmates." Tommy said.

"Mhm. Sureee. I thought we were platonic soulmates." Toby stated.

"Oh, yeah. Then what are Marie and I?" Tommy asked.

Toby looked at Tommy with a blank stare. "Soulmates, Tommy. Romantically." 

Tommy raised his eyebrows. "What?! No, I'm not catching feelings for some woman."

Toby laughed. "Oookay, whatever you say, Tommy. Just wait until you hang out with her more." He walked out the room and headed downstairs. 

"What?! No!" Tommy followed Toby downstairs into the hotel lobby. 

Clay, George, Ranboo, Karl, Nick, and Floris were all sitting on the couches playing Uno. 

"I told you already, it's Uno! I have 3 cards left!" George protested. 

"What the fuck are you even talking about?! Uno means ONE, George. ONE!" Floris explained. 

"Guys, guys, stop it. I'll just shut George up by giving him plus 4 cards." Nick smirked and placed down a +4 card. George groaned and took 4 more cards.

Tommy and Toby walked over and looked at the group. 

"You guys are crazy, the lot of you." Tommy sighed.

"Where's Wilbur?" Toby asked. 

"He went to get some food. Where have you been?" Clay asked.

Tommy looked at Toby, then back at Clay. "Uhhh, we were just hanging out around town."

Clay analyzed Tommy more, than sighed. "Well, as long as you two don't do anything stupid, I guess it's fine for you two to go out alone." 

"If you guys are going out, can I come too?" Ranboo asked, looking up from his cards.

"Sure!" Toby smiled.

Tommy looked at Ranboo. "Sure but we'll be with-" Tommy caught himself and cleared his throat. "We'll be with a friend."

Clay raised one eyebrow. "A friend?" 

"Yeah, a friend. Our online friend. Who lives here. In America." Toby lied.

Tommy shoved his elbow into Toby's side and quickly took over the conversation. "Anyways, let's go now, Ranboo." 

Ranboo stood up and followed Tommy and Toby. They walked quickly to the hotel front door.

"Ehem." Clay looked at them as they were about to walk out the door. 

"What?" Tommy groaned.

"Is this friend a boy or a girl?" Clay asked.

Tommy frowned. "Why the fuck do you need to know? Let's just go, Toby."

Tommy, Toby, and Ranboo walked out the door and headed down the street.

Clay turned back to the group. "Yep, it's definitely a girl."

"About time Tommy get's a girlfriend." Nick laughed.

Tommy, Toby, and Ranboo walked down to the ocean and set up their blankets on the sand. The sun was setting with beautiful warm colors of red and orange all across the sky.

"Wait, who is this 'friend'?" Ranboo asked.

"Well, Ranboo, we're meeting up with Tommy's soulmate Marie again." Toby explained.

Ranboo turned to Toby and Tommy. "Really? She's here?"

"Hi Tommy, hi Toby." 

Ranboo looked up and saw Marie standing in front of them. "Hi, nice to meet you."

Ranboo stood up and held out his hand to shake. Marie looked up at Ranboo.

Geez this man is tall, she thought. 

Marie smiled and shook his hand. "Who are you?" She asked.

"Oh, I figured Tommy told you already." Ranboo said.

Marie's smile dropped. I recognize that voice. I RECOGNIZE that voice. Holy shit. Holy shit. Holy shit. I cannot believe I am meeting...wait. Am I real? Is this real? 

"Am I in a very long dream right now?" Marie wondered aloud. 

Ranboo confusedly looked at Tommy and Toby. 

Toby looked at Marie. "No, you're here. This is real. Are you okay Marie?"

Marie started feeling dizzy. "Mhm, I'm...I'm fine. I'm good..."

She started wobbling. Tommy stepped towards Marie. "Hey, do you need some water?"

"No, no, I promise I'm fine-" Marie passed out and fell.

Tommy caught her and held her. "Woah, woah, woah!"

He layed her down onto the ground and pressed the back of his hand to her forehead. "Jesus, she's heating up."
