Bell called Marie again.
Hi! Marie here, sorry I couldn't get to the phone. Chances are I threw it into the ocean or something. Call back later-
Bell sighed and hung up on the ringtone. "Why won't you answer, May?"
Bell scrolled through her contacts. She stopped the scroll and pressed her thumb down on the screen. Bell held her breath and hesitantly pressed call.
"Hello?"
Bell grabbed her plushy and squeezed it so she wouldn't rage into the phone. She exhaled.
"Hi, Matthew." Bell said bitterly.
"Why are you calling me, Bell?" Matthew said in a monotone voice.
"Marie's not responding to my calls or texts." Bell replied.
"So, it's not like I'm your guy's friend anymore." Matthew replied coldly.
Bell squeezed her plushy harder. "Listen here, you little shi-" Bell cut herself off and took a deep breath. "I know, it's just I'm really worried about her. She always replies back."
"Check her social media's. She posts there often." Matthew suggested.
Bell pulled up Instagram and checked Marie's profile. "Nothing on Instagram."
"Check Twitter."
"Already doing that." Bell rolled her eyes at Matthew and pulled up Marie's Twitter page.
"She only replied to Tubbo's tweet a few hours ago." Bell said.
"What is it?" Matthew asked.
"It's just a winky face." Bell continued to stare at Marie's reply.
"What was the tweet that she replied to?" Matthew asked.
"Tubbo's tweet was: 'No stream for today, hanging out with some friends.' And then Marie replied with a winky face." Bell scrunched up her nose. "Weird."
"And how long has she not been replying to you?" Matthew questioned.
Bell huffed. "How many questions do you have to ask?"
"I'm just asking, geez. If she won't reply to you then let me call her."
"NO don't you DARE call her. You've hurt us both enough."
"Right, right. Marie still is talking to her soulmate, I assume?" Matthew said sarcastically.
"Well I would know, if she would goddamn reply to me." Bell sighed. "Calling you was a mistake. Bye." Bell hung up and threw her phone onto her bed.
"Maybe I should throw my phone into the ocean." Bell sighed again.
The ocean. Bell grabbed her phone and headed downstairs and out the door to head to the ocean.
