Chapter 15

MinRa POV

Ugh! My body feels like jello. Wait. What's this I feel on my wrists. I opened my eyes to feel them watering and hurting. The room looked red because my eyes were shining so bright.... So this is how the dungeon looks. Wait where's N? I looked around and tried to smell him but I only smelled the vervain that was stinging all of my sense. I groaned in both pain and annoyance. They put fucking vervain in my system! My vectors only go so far and no matter how much my mind tells my body to move, it won't listen. Darn you evil plants! I just want to find my boyfriend and make sure he's not dead or hurt. Suddenly I heard footsteps walk down the hallway. I held in my breath as they stopped in front if a door in front of me. The latch creaked open and the sound made my ears ring. I made eye contact with the person who opened the door and hissed at them. Yes we hiss but not like a snake. Ok well maybe a bit like them but that's not the point.
"I'm surprise you could even do that. Should we up you're dose?" Mr. Lee said.
"Do as you wish." I spat at him.
"Getting a little mad are we? I'm sure your hunger is driving you crazy isn't it?" I sucked my breath in once more as I realized my throat was burning. How long was I passed out? Now that I think about the pain of my hunger, I feel like it's driving me crazy! "Don't worry! I brought you a snack!" He threw a body into the room and the person landed on their face. It was a man. He groan and stood up, I immediately recognized him, N.
"MinRa!" He said in full smile. I smiled as well but he started taking a couple steps toward me.
"No stop!" I yelled and he froze in place and looked at me with sad eyes.
"Why? Don't you guys want to rekindle you're romance?" Mr. Lee asked with a smug look on his face.
"You know I wouldn't be able to control myself! You set this up? You want him to be a vampire?" I screamed with what littler energy I had left.
"You know what would happen if she doesn't eat soon? She'll dry out and starve." Mr lee whispered in N's ear.
"Don't N please! I don't want to change you." N was standing there with his mind blank but he suddenly stood up straight.
"I'm not letting you die." He said firmly and started walking towards me. I tried to struggle away but my brain and body just won't work together. He was now 3 feet away from me when he collapsed on the floor, screaming his head off.
"No! Stop. Don't do this!" I yelled as I saw N's veins pop out from being in so much pain.
"I don't want him being a vampire now do I?" He stopped and N laid there, lifeless. If I couldn't hear his heartbeat I would be freaking out right now.
"What are you doing?" I asked him as he grabbed a bucket from the other side of the room.
"You still need to eat don't you?" He used his fingernail and sliced an artery in N's arm. The sudducing smell of blood filled the room. The smell was so different from any blood I've ever smelled. It smelled so sweet and addicting that my mouth started to water. "Look at this! So you are a monster inside aren't you." That sounded more like a statement then him question. I couldn't stop my mouth and body reacting the way it was but I do know that my eyes were glaring into his soul with such hatred. He held a bucket up to my lips and practically forced the blood down my throat. The taste was so good that I couldn't even describe it in words. I guess if gold tasted good then that would be the taste, like liquid gold. I drained the bucket dry as quickly as I could. My sense took over me and I soon regretted every slurp I took. I opened my eyes to see N looking at me with an unreadable expression. The disgust in myself only grew every time I looked in his eyes, I stopped.
"Now you see what she really is. Is this what you read about in your little vampire hunter books?" Mr. Lees laughter boomed in the room as he laughed in N's face.
Pain shot threw me suddenly and I felt like I couldn't breath. I could feel myself shaking in the chains that binded me to the wall.
"Don't touch her!" N weakly yelled from the same comer of the room he was tossed to. The pain stopped but a slap was given to my face and strong hands grabbed ahold of my chin and jawbone, squeezing it to the point where I thought it might break.
"I treated you like a princess. I gave you everything and what do you do? You run off with a vampire hunter and betrayed us all. You are nothing to us. You're sister is in pain and everyone sees you as nothing but filth and that's where you belong." He spat in my face and went to the corner and started to beat N. I looked down and just did what I could to help him, stay as quiet as I could....
