"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!" Sejun's voice echoed throughout the hall. He is the top leader of the whole entire Vampire Hunter Society. He's a skinny elderly man but he's not someone to mess with. He may sit in a chair all day but if you mess with him then the punishment is severe. No one ever talks about it because of how traumatizing it is. That is what keeps the Vampire Hunter society so loyal and unwilling to leave. He will stop them in their tracks and they will bare an unbearable punishment. I've never been on his bad side before but I really don't want to start... Ken's gonna get it. "Are you sure he's joined them?"
"Yes." Leo said with a straight face. "One of the patrols said that they saw him leave and vanish n thin air somewhere in the forest. I believe that the hideout is protected by an invisible spell." Sejun rested his head in his hand for a while and sighed while trying to think of what to do next.
"Do they have any idea where he disappeared at?"
"Yes."
"How many men do you need?" Sejun asked Leo.
"The men I have will do me god but I need about 10 more men as back up. We don't know what is behind the barrier." Leo sad.
"Alright. Gather up the men that you want and get ready to depart before noon tomorrow. You are dismissed." Sejun said.
"Yes Sir!" We all saluted and went out of the room. The air seemed really heavy as we walked out. It felt like we were in a terrible nightmare and we couldn't wake up. N is, well was our leader and now we have to go find and capture him? It just doesn't seem right. It seems unnatural. All those years of training together seem to have vanished. What's worse is that he's friend with demons. That one brain washed him and for that, I'll kill her with my own two hands.
"Hongbin?" Leo asked, breaking the silence.
"Yes sir." I firmly said.
"Go to the woods and retrieve that sword you dropped the other day."He said coldly and walked away. Well that was nice.
"Want me to go with you?" Hyuk asked me. It was actually Hyuk's sword but I took the blame that day. Hyuk has been so shaken up since what happened with N and Ravi. The poor kid doesn't know what to think anymore. The least I could do was give him some time to gain his senses.
"Nah. Leo would get angry. Go on and ill meet you later." I told him. He nodded and I proceeded to look for that dang sword.
As I walked into the woods, I felt something weird like I was being watched. I looked around but there was no one around me and no smell other than the smell of the earth. I must be really stressed out and paranoid. I shook my head and continued to venture out deeper. Finally I saw something shining on the ground. The sword! I finally found you! I picked up the pace, wanting to get back to base as soon as possible. Just as I was about to reach down to get my sword, I felt something slither around my ankle. I froze for a second. Is that a snake? As the thing got tighter around my ankle I slowly started to go for my sword. I almost have it!
"WOAH!!!" I yelled. I'm dangling above ground by my leg. I looked up and it was a vine. Great... Now I'm stuck here... I should have let Hyuk come with me. Who knows how long it will be till I am found...
"Look what I have here~" I heard a female voice sing. Crap. "I got myself a vampire hunter!" She said enthusiastically.
"Show yourself!" I yelled out.
"Now what fun would that be?" She chuckled.
"SHOW YOURSELF OR I'LL-"
"You'll what? Kill me? From over here it seems like you're the one who needs to be nice." I'm getting so pissed off right now. Ok calm down Hongbin. Breathe.
"What do you want?" I sighed. What choice I even have.
"Good boy!" She praised. I heard a loud crunch like someone just jumped in front of me. It was over in the shadows. I saw the outline of the person and it seemed like a pretty small girl. "All I want..." She got right up to me in the blink of an eye and stroked my face. "...is for you to stop trying to kill my friend."
"Your friend?" I moved my face away from her demon hands and looked her dead in the eye. She smirked and backed away. I could see her more clearly now. She's a petit girl with long, black hair and bright blue eyes. She was as pale as snow and had a blushed tent to her cheeks. She was really pretty but demons are masked like that to reel us in. It won't work for me.
"Yeah. You know. The really pretty vampire with some kick ass moves. Some even say we are long lost twins, well except for the eyes." She pointed to her blue eyes and batted them my way.
"Oh! You mean the bitch who brain washed our leader." I spat at her. Stupid I know but she was getting on my nerves and I don't want to play nice.
"YA!" She grabbed my hair and pulled it so I swung closer to her. "I'll let this go once since I'm a nice person but that's a warning. Song Hyeji doesn't like it when pretty boys like you insult people without knowing the truth." She sneered and pushed my head back, letting go of my hair. "Now are you going to play nice or are we going to have to do this the hard way?"
"There is no way I'm ever going to listen to you soulless demons." I glared at her. She sighed and ran her hand through her hair.
"Hard way it is." All of a sudden, the whole world went black...
Hello everyone! I'm so sorry i haven't uploaded in ages! Things have been going on in my life and I've been having some mean writers block. I think I'm getting over it so expect some things soon. I have not given up on this story and i will still write it so don't worry! I had o make this chapter small because i don't really have much time but i felt the strong need to post something new.
