Chapter 13

MinRa POV

"Sooo... They've been fighting for 3 hours now. You think we should break it up?" I asked as Sungmin, Sunny, N, and I were all laying around in N's temporary room. They don't seem to be going anywhere. They both are as stubborn as heck and when I think they are finally getting somewhere, one of them end up messing it up all over again.
"Nah! Let them sort out their own problems." Sungmin replied while pulling Sunny closer to him on the bed.
"It doesn't seem like it's going anywhere." I pouted and had my arm rest on the armrest of the swirly chair I was sitting on. N who was sitting on a bench in front of me put a hand on my knee for support.
"Sungmin's right. If we interrupt them then they may never solve it together and just end up fighting again." N said.
"I guess so." I sighed.
"Don't worry Hun! Everything will be ok!" Sunny told me and gave me a bright smile.
"Thanks!"
"Wait! Can't Melonie hear us. I mean we're only upstairs." N pointed out. Guess he doesn't know too much about us.
"Don't worry! She still a newborn so her hearing is not that good yet." Sungmin said. N nodded his head, letting the newly learned information sink in.
"Hey guys listen!" Sunny sat up. We did as told but everything seemed calm.
"I don't hear anything..... I don't hear anything!" I got up and ran downstairs as fast as I can. Either A. They made up or B. She killed him. She is a newborn after all. She could easily-
Woah! When I got down there, i saw Melonie crying on Ravi's shoulder.
"They made up!" Sunny said from behind me and put a hand on my shoulder.
"I'm relieved" I smiled.
"Let me go make some tea." She said and disappeared into the kitchen.
"I'm sorry I stained your shirt!" Melonie finally said as she looked up at Ravi and wiped her eyes.
"It's fine. There's more where this comes from." He smiled and stroked her hair. His blue shirt was stained with blood tears in the front of it but that didn't seem to matter to him.
"It's good you guys made up." I smiled at them.
"Oh, um, yeah" Melonie sat up and looked at us. We all sat down on the couch across from them, still in awe of this moment. Seconds later Sunny came back with some tea.
"This is really good!" Melonie exclaimed as she took her first drink.
"Thank you!" Sunny smiled and sat next to Sungmin.
"We have an announcement to make to all of you." Sungmin started. Everyone put their tea cups down and focused their attention on Sunny and Sungmin."Should I say it or you?"
"How about we say it together?"
"No you say it!" Gosh their so cute when they argue but the tension is killing me. I wanna know now!!
"Tell us already!" I laughed!
"Alright alright!" Sungmin laughed as well.
"We're gonna have a baby!!!" They both said in unison! They both held on each other's hands and gave us huge smiles. We let the new sink in before Melonie and I both jumped up squealing. Sunny joined us and we all hugged!
"I'm so happy fo-" Melonie froze in mid sentence and just stared at nothing.
"Hey what's wrong?" I called but she wasn't responding.
"Hey!" Ravi placed a hand on Melonie's shoulder and she came back to her senses. "You ok?"
"U-uh y-y-yeah. I'm really happy for you both. I'm sorry but can I go take a walk?" Melonie stuttered.
"Of course dear!" She gave her a motherly smile.
"I'll go with you." Ravi said but Melonie shook her head.
"I just need some air." She walked out and everything became silent.
"I hope she's fine." Sungmin muttered.
"She just needs some space. She's still mourning even though she puts on such a strong face." Ravi stated while looking out the door as if she'll come back from it.
"Well anyways, how far along are you?" I asked Sunny trying to get the mood back up.
"Oh! I'm 1 and a half months now! I'm about to go in my second trimester!" She smiled. Oh yeah, fun fact for you: vampire experience really fast pregnancies so she should be having her baby soon compared to human pregnancies. Sungmin then put a hand on her stomach and rubbed it.
"I can't wait to meet him or her." He had such a sparkle in his eyes that was filled with so much love. He's gonna be the best daddy ever. While I was talking in this moment, N grabbed onto my hand and gave it a squeeze. We exchanged warm smiles to each other. One day we'll be like that and have a family of our own. Nothing can describe how happy that would make me but I'm not too sure about having a lot of kids. One would be enough for me I think but who knows. I used to hate the idea of having a mate and look at where I'm at now. All of a sudden Sungmin's head snapped up and he frowned.
"Shit!" He said and looked out the window.
"What is it?" N asked. His leader skills starting turning as he went by Sungmin and looked out the window. His eyes widened as he went to me and grabbed my hand.
"What's going on?" I asked him.
"Looks like you've been found out." Sungmin told me and I felt my whole world start to crumble.
