Chapter 4

"Because I'm a vampire hunter." Those words rang through my ears as panic set over me. Of course it would be my luck to bond with a vampire hunter. My mate's gonna kill me. I went as far back in the couch as the guy kept coming towards me.

"Y-y-you're not going to kill me, are you?" I got my vectors ready as he came towards me, just incase we had to get into a fight. He stopped in front of me and slowly put his hands on both sides of my cheeks. He leaned down a bit to where I could smell him so strongly. We'll if I was gonna die then this is how I would want it to happen.

"I don't think I can." He said in a low tone. I looked up at him in relief and shock. He smiled at me which made butterflies fly in my stomach. He went down on his knees and and got something out of his pocket. "This is for your bruises. They will heal faster if you let me put this on you." He looked for permission and I nodded to him. He opened the round container and put some of the white gunk on his fingers. I spread my legs out a bit so he could easily put the cream on my bruises gently. I felt shockwaves got throughout my body as his hands was gently going up with the cream. I leaned back on the couch and gripped my hands onto the fabric, trying to control my lust. He looked up at me with worried eyes. "Am I hurting you?" I bit my lip and shook my head.

"I'm trying to keep myself under control. Your scent and touch is driving me crazy and I don't want to hurt you." I took his hands in mine and smiled at him. "Let me do it." He nodded his head and gave me the medicine. I put the while gunk on my fingers and started to do the same thing as he did. He turned around, flustered. "You did the same thing." I teased.

"Yeah we'll it's different when you watch a girl do it to herself" he admitted. I chuckled to myself as I finished up.

"I'm done." I said and he turned around. I gave him the medicine back, wiping the excess gunk off my hands on my dress. "Thank you." I said.

Guys POV

"Thank you." She said. My heart still pounded whenever I looked at MinRa. She's so perfect, from her tiny (yet curvy) white body, to her slick black hair, to her cute face that seems to be even more cute and beautiful by the second. She was making me crazy inside that I didn't know what to do. I should probably tell her my name. She didn't seem to be dangerous like the books always said that she would be, plus I feel the need too since we're bonded. I wonder what that means but I should probably ask that later, not on the first meeting.

"N" I told her. She cocked her beautiful head to the side in confusion. Her eyes brows furrowed together.

"What?" She asked. You dummy N, if you just say that then she'll obviously get confused.

"My name is N" I told her. She smiled which lit up my whole world. I could feel my ears turning red once again.

"We'll, N, it's nice to meet you." I smiled at her and timidly sat next to her, scooting a bit towards her in the process. I could sit here forever but unfortunately, the worry of the hunters society made me a bit nervous. How was I gonna tell the guys or will I even tell them. They will defiantly tell me that she cursed me and want to kill her which I defiantly don't want happening. Plus I'm a leader of a squad, how will they take it if they find out that I'm bonded to a vampire.

"What do we do now?" She asked. I guess she is worrying about the same thing with her clan. I took her hands reassuringly, hoping to show that he could trust me.

"Let's not tell anyone about this. We both know what that would lead to."

"I need to be able to see you." She said.

"Do you have a phone?" I don't know anything about the way vampires live. The only thing we learned was how evil they are and that they have no soul. I knew this was not the case when I stared into MinRa's eyes but that doesn't mean I knew if she lived modernly.

"Of course I have a phone." She laughed which sounded like music to my ears. She took her phone out of the front of her dress and handed it to me. My face heated up and the warmth of the phone from being by her breast. I quickly called my number and handed the phone back to her. We saved each other's numbers and started to head out.

"We need a spot to meet each other at." I told her.

"What about here?" She suggested. That's not a bad idea. We agreed to meet here tomorrow around noon and went on our way. As I was walking down the street, I had to think of something to tell the guys before they question me about my absence during the mission. I can't really tell them I was hanging out with a vampire can I?
