Chapter 12

"Here are the rooms that you can use." Sunny exclaimed as we made it upstairs. Ravi was still passed out on the couch but Sunny and I (well mostly Sunny because I started to lose my control if you get what I mean) cleaned him up so he should wake up soon. Sunny really wanted to give a tour so that happened haha. There wasn't much food in the fridge which wasn't a surprise but while Sunny was giving us the tour, Sungmin went out to go get some groceries for the boys. You know it's really surprising how great everyone is taking this, almost makes me want to tell everyone. Almost. I know most everyone will not be happy with this and I don't need to extra stress of trying not to get us killed and locked in a cell. Yeah, that doesn't sound nice but as I watched Sunny pull N from room to room, I felt so happy for having people like her. She is so understanding and open and motherly that I just couldn't imagine a better person in the world (other than N but that's a give hehe). As Sunny got finished with the tour, she led us back downstairs to the cute little living room where Ravi was sitting up holding his head in his hands.
"Oh you're up!" Sunny skipped over to Ravi and tried to examine his bandage on his head but Ravi slapped her hand away.
"Get away from me vampire." The way he said vampire just gave me chills down my back. Sunny back away in shock as she just looked at Ravi. There was pure hate and horror in the sound of his voice that made me a bit uneasy. I can tell that N sensed it by the way he grabbed my hand and gave it a squeeze.
"Ravi, we need to speak with you." N told him sounding all commander like. To be honest it was kind of a turn on.
"I have nothing to say to you." Ravi glared at both of us. My minds made up, I'm telling him about Melonie.
"If you want to know about Melonie then I suggest you listen to what we have to say." I informed.
"You know where she's at?!?" Ravi sat up and widened his eyes in surprise.
"Yes and if you want to see her then listen to what we have to say."
"Fine." He sat back on the couch and made himself more comfortable. He's still recovering after all. N and I took a seat on the opposite end of the couch while Sunny suggested that she go see what's taking Sungmin so long.
"Ravi. I'm sorry about what happened a couple months ago. I was confused and I couldn't say anything. I don't know what came over me but I give you my word that it will never happen again." N said to start off this talk. Ravi stayed silent wanting to just get the talk over with. It'll rake some time for Ravi to forgive N but I'm certain they will overcome this soon enough.
"We're going to have to stay here for the time being. It's isolated and somehow protected but hopefully we will be safe here. We have help and we're alive so that's good." N smiled trying to brighten up the mood but it just ended up being awkward and the atmosphere was not good at all. His smile faded really quickly as Ravi did not return it.
"Who saved me?" Ravi suddenly asked, catching N and I off guard.
"What?" N asked while I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion.
"I remember Leo almost killing me before I passed out so who saved me?"
"Uh, that was Sungmin" I answered.
"Oh...." Was Ravi's only reply. Guess he didn't think we could be nice. Well we proved him wrong!
"Are you not going to cause trouble?" N asked while eyeing Ravi.
"Well I'm not really accepted anywhere anymore so I guess not"
"Ok so about Melonie-"
"How is she? Is she ok? Is she still sad about her parents and sisters?" Ravi burst out. He was sitting on the edge of the couch all alert. I was really shocked, taken aback actually. "She probably really hates me...." The sadness in his eyes couldn't be expressed in words.
"She's fine. She finally started smiling about a month and a half ago and is as bubbly as ever. We don't talk about them in from of her. It makes her sad when she starts thinking about all that happened that night." Ravi seemed to let my words sink in as I spoke them.
"That's good. She's always been someone to put on a smile when needed but inside I'm sure she's sad. She would always come to me when she felt sad and I'd always counsel her. I don't think she'd even want to see my face again. I'm such an idiot." He buried his head in his hands and stayed like that for a while.
"I'll get her over here tomorrow. I'm not going to promise that id make her stay but maybe you two can make up or have some type of closure."
"Thank you some much!" He finally smiled and I could see why she would fall in love with him. He has this charm that not many people have but that doesn't mean I excuse him from being a complete asshole. Not to long after our talk, Sunny and Sungmin came in holding 2 bags of groceries in each hand.
"Anyone hungry?" Sunny sang from the other room.
"Oh I am!" I called to her and the two boys gave me a strange look. "What can't a girl eat?"
"You eat something other than blood?" Ravi asked while giving me the look you would give someone if they just took the last donut off a shelf.
"Just because I'm an evil blood sucking monster doesn't mean I've lost all taste in my taste buds for everything other than blood." I answered him and N started laughing.
"I love you!" He said blatantly.
"I love you too! Now let's eat!" I ran to the other room and put my arms around Sunny while she was cooking.
"Whatcha cookin!" I exclaimed. It's so nice to get the pressure of knowing about Melonie off my chest. I feel like a new person. Plus Sunny is making me food so who could be happier!
"I'm making your favorite! Chicken, shrimp, and beef kabob!"
"Yaaaaay!" I danced in the kitchen and grabbed Sungmins arm while jumping!
"Why must you women insist on ripping my arms off." Sungmin complained but smiled soon after.
"Oh you love it!" The other boys walked in and was shocked by how excited I was.
"MinRa?" N looked like he couldn't decide whether to be confused or start laughing. Needless to say, it was adorable.
"What? It's a kabob! How could you not be excited by the meatiness and flavor of one, especially when Sunny makes it." I scootched on over to N's side and gave a big smile.
"You're too cute!" He pinched my checks.
"Alright! The only ones who are aloud to be cute here is Sungminnie and I." Everyone laughed (except Ravi who is still in a bummer mood) and sat down ready to engulf this perfectness!

"Yaaaaaaahooooooo!" Melonie yelled as she swung across the 100th tree already and I'm being very literal. I counted.
"You're too hyper! I'm too old for this!" I yelled while running to keep up with her. Seriously where does she get all this energy!!
"Come on! It's been forever since I've been out of the house!" She yell all too enthusiastically! I swear I'm getting so behind on my Hetalia. I hope Jonghyun and Eunhyuk don't go on ahead without me! I bet they are! Those jerks! I'm gonna have to interrogate them when I get home. What ever happened to bei- ......... I just slammed into a flipper tree.
"AHAHAHAHAHA!" Melonie lost grip of her branch and fell right on top of me, laughing her ass off. "You just ran into a tree! That's hilarious! Wait till I tell the boys!" She laughed hardly breathing.
"Hey! Get off me!" I pushed her off but that still didn't stop her laughter. "It's not that funny!" I complained but that still didn't stop her. She was on the ground crying her eyes out. "Ugh! You want to go see Sunny's and Sungmin's cabin or not!" She slowly got up, yet again, still laughing. After another couple minutes or so she stopped and composed herself.
"You just made my day!" She smiled. I'm starting to feel a bit guilty bring her out here to go and see her ex-boyfriend. I mean it's not like she asked who was there or not but I still feel like I was deceiving her. Ugh! Feelings can be brutal.
"Follow me." I told her and ran in the direction of the house. We finally got there and I knocked on the door.
"Hey there MinRa! Melonie! Come on in!" Sunny cheerfully answered.
"Hey Sunny! Where's N?" I asked. Time to get our plan into motion.
"Who's N?" Melonie cocked her head cutely to the side in confusion.
"My mate!" I wiggled my eyebrows. "So where is he?"
"Upstairs! You can go see him if you like!" Sunny smiled and led Melonie to the living room.

Melonie POV

As Sunny led me to her oh so cute live room I saw from the corner of my eye that MinRa was running upstairs to see her mate. I want to meet him! I hope he comes down soon! I'm sure they're so cute together! Hehe. Sunny went into the kitchen to go get some drinks so I was just sitting here on the couch, observing her house or what I could see of it. Her living room was filed with little things from the past that was really cute. She also had some older coins on display on the fireplace ledge. Now that I think about, it's probably Sungmins. Sunny doesn't seem like that type of girl. I guess I can't really say much though. I've only know her for about 3 months so I only know so much about her. Even so she has become like my new mom to me. She lets me call her mommy now too. I don't know where I would be without Sunny. Sungmin too though. The first couple of days, Sungmin (along with MinRa and Sunny) were my rock. He was like my dad. Always being there for a shoulder to cry on and saying the right things. I don't know if it was because he knew what was going on inside my mind or if he was just like that but I appreciate him so much. He cared for me during all my bad times. I don't think you could ever meet a sweeter couple in the world! Makes me wish I still had my special someone with me.
"M-Melonie?" My heart dropped down to my stomach. I know that voice. That's someone I never expected to ever talk to again in my life. I started hyperventilating as I though of a way to get away from him but realized that if I run then I may get tracked down by him. I'm not completely oblivious to what vampire hunters do now and I know what their capable of. I just never thought I would have to encounter one this soon and it being my ex-boyfriend.
"Leave me alone." I growled at him which surprised me. Did me becoming a vampire change the way I talk? You know I don't have time to deal with that, I have other problems that I have to deal with now.
"Melonie please! I'm so-" I heard him take a couple steps toward me and I snapped. I turned towards to see his sweet face looking at me in worry. He had cuts and bruises all over him which made me worry to be honest. I felt this urge to find out who did it and kill them. It broke my heart but he hurt me and I can't forgive.
"You're what? Sorry? You almost killed me Ravi! My boyfriend who I've known practically all of my life and I trusted was gonna let me die because I'm not what he wants me to be. We'll you know I've become stronger than that! I don't need you anymore so get out of my life and leave me alone!" I yelled at him. But I know him, he's persistent as ever. That's how I fell in love with him....
