Chapter 10

"Is he here yet?" I asked as I ran into the living room where everyone was sitting.
"Not yet." Amber said, still half asleep. Hmm she's tired..... Amber is never tired.... Something must of happened while I was gone.... Strange.
As I rushed to the bean bag, I couldn't help but feel Sungmin's eyes following me. I held eye contact with him and smiled. Let's meet later in private. I thought. He nodded and smiled back. I didn't notice Sunny sleeping in him though. So cute!!! As Sungmin was killing me with his eyes, Mr. Lee came in.
"Hello kids!" He smiled but everyone could tell that this was not going to be a good meeting. The atmosphere just became so heavy.
"What's going on?" Melonie wispered behind me causing me to jump.
"S-shit you scared me! That's Mr. Lee. He is head of our clan and he part of the vampire counsel." I told her.
"Oh, he looks nice." She said not grasping the situation.
"He is when your on his good side but don't be on his bad side. He can cause pain from his eyes." Her eyes widened as she settled down in her seat.
"There seems to be a clan of vampire hunters going around and killing some of our kind. It's not final yet but the vampire counsel is talking about starting a war." Mr. Lee said.
"Excuse me but a war?!?" Heechul exclaimed. He was not happy about that idea.
"Why don't we just send the JYP clan to use their hunting instincts to kill them?" Minho said.
"Because we believe that this group has more than we predicted. They sent out Jackson, Fei, and Jun.k the other day and let's just say they barley made it back moving..." He said. Everyone started to panic. "Now people calm down. We'll Get this under control but there is one thing concerning us. Fei reported that it was hard for her to sniff them out. This could only mean two things: they got vervain, or they have a vampire going around them. Let me remind you that the law states that a vampire hunter and a vampire should not mix and if they do, both will suffer severe consequences." The seriousness in his voice caused me to get chills down my spine. I really need to talk to Sungmin.

"So what you're telling me is that you mated with a vampire hunter and you've been seeing him since the ball." Sungmin eyed. I nodded as he sat back in the chair. We decided to go to a quiet cafe after the meeting was done so we had some privacy. It was one of those really cute and small ones where you order and eat/drink outside. Not many vampires come here because it's so close to the vampire hunter head quarters but Sungmin could hear them a mile away. We should be fine. This silence is killing me though! He's been in deep thought for quite a while now and to be honest it's kinda scarring me.
"Don't be scared. I told you you could trust me right!" He smiled. I sighed in relief.
"Thank you so much for understanding!"
"Hey what are friends for! Anyways, where have you two been meeting?"
"Well it's this abandoned house that he bought and I repaired."
"You two have been playing it safe right?" He eyed me in the way a big brother would over his little sister.
"Yes of course!" I rolled my eyes.
"Good because if Mr. Lee finds out about this there is not much I can do. I have Sunny to protect." He looked down like he was disappointed in himself.
"Don't worry! We won't get caught and if we did I won't tell anyone about you guys helping us out. I would never want my friends to get in trouble because of my stupid mistakes" I reassured him. He seemed to relax a bit more and took a drink of his coffee.
"You know its weird that even though we drink blood and eat food and stuff we don't use the bathroom. I wonder where it all goes?" He stated randomly while eating his bagel.
"I don't even want to know." I wrinkled my nose.
"You sure! You clever wanted to know what happened to everything you eat? You've never thought of that?"
"I rather just think it dissolves..." I told him as he happily are his food. I will never understand this guy! All of a sudden, there was a call. I looked at the caller id to see that it was N.
"Hello~" I sang into the phone.
"MinRa?!?" N's voice sounded shaky and hurt. I felt my heart drop down to my stomach in fear of what could me wrong.
"What's wrong? Are you ok? Are you hu-"
"The guys found out place. They tracked me here and they're mad. I don't know what to do! If they tell everyone then they will kill you and put my in a torture chamber. I don't want to lose you!" My heart skipped a beat as he told me what was happening. We can't be found out now.
"I'll be right there!" I told him as I started to started up.
"No it's too dangerous! They will kill you!" He sounded like a scared kid which broke my heart. I can't bare to let him go through this alone.
"Don't worry! I'll be fine! I'll see you soon!" I hung up before he could protest even more. What am I suppose to do. I guess I don't have these vectors for nothing but they are probably his friends.
"I'm coming with you." Sungmin stated as he threw away our trash.
"The hell you are! I'm a big girl! I can do this myself."
"I may trust you but that doesn't mean I trust him yet. For all I know this could be a trap and what type of oppa would I be if I didn't protect my friend." He has a point. I guess there's nothing I can do but let him come.
"Fine but let's keep fighting to the last minute option please. And don't kill my mate."
"Aye aye!" He saluted and we both walked over to my car. I have a bad feeling about this....
