//TW// Mild mentions of death and suicide ahead

It was just another Sunday, Seungmin's parent's took him to the church as usual. There were a lot of his father's noble friends there, they kept talking about boring things like politics and his mother was talking to her friends. They completely forgot he was even here.

He hated coming to the church but rather than being cooped up in his room everyday the weekly trip to the church allowed him to see the world a little bit even if it was nothing special.

He slowly walked towards the pavilion next to the church. The place was beautiful and secluded surrounded by various kinds of roses. The fragrance was overwhelming.  "I can stay here for a while I guess." Seungmin said to himself and sat down on the white bench admiring the view of the flowers infront of him.

Seungmin remembered his sister, she loved flowers. He plucked a rose from a nearby branch and sighed remembering there was no way he could give it to her.

His sister passed away from a car accident a year ago. Since then his parents didn't let him out of the house, paranoid after loosing one child. He had private tutoring, everything brought to him into his room. His only source of entertainment was watching movies or reading books.

He thought to himself. Someday I'm going to get away from my overprotective family and travel the world and see everything

"Hey! You over there." Seungmin turned to a voice that came from behind him. It was a boy who seemed about his age. The boy was standing behind the iron fence which divided the church ground and the orphanage associated to it.

He was wearing a simple white t-shirt tucked into faded denim jeans. His facial features were startlingly elegant, the sharp jawline, plump red lips, beautiful dark eyes and a small mole under one eye with midnight black hair.

"Can you do me a favor and pick that yellow rose over there for me?" The boy asked making Seungmin step back into his senses. He looked at where the boy was pointing at.

It was beautiful yellow rose. Seungmin plucked the flower and walked up to the fence and handed it over to the boy through the bars. He took the rose and smiled down at it and turned his face up to Seungmin and smiled sweetly.

"Thank you, My name is Hyunjin by the way. What about you?"

"My name is Kim Seungmin."

"Oh okay, thanks again. Bye." Hyunjin waved and ran back to the orphanage right when Seungmin's mother called for him to go home.

hyunjin

The name itself held a different kind of beauty. Seungmin kept thinking about him. For some reason he couldn't wait till next Sunday.

he might be there again

Seungmin was literally jumping up and down in excitement next Sunday when they drove to the church. Hyunjin's image constantly popping into his mind randomly was torturing him throughout the week. He didn't know why but he wanted to see Hyunjin's face again.

Seungmin secretly kept looking out from the church windows as they said prayers and ran into the pavilion as soon as it ended. Seungmin could see children from the orphanage playing in the front yard.

He kept searching for Hyunjin and then he saw him. He was wearing the same outfit as last time. He was standing next to a tree with another light pink haired boy talking.

In the next few weeks Seungmin kept doing nothing but look at Hyunjin from a distance as he visited the church.

It took him some time but he slowly realized that he had a crush on the mysterious boy who he only knew the name of.

hyunjin

He knew nothing about him but longed for him. But all of  sudden after hearing rumors about the increased amount of assassinations his parents stopped going to the church cutting off Seungmin from his only source of hope and happiness.

Its been four years since then, Seungmin was now twenty years old. He was back at the church but not because it was Sunday. His father was murdered by a man named Hwang Hyunjun. He was shocked to see that the man who murdered his father had the same facial features of his Hyunjin and slowly got to know it was his twin through people.

At first Seungmin was angry at Hyunjin, then at himself for falling for Hyunjin but then again Hyunjin never did anything wrong. It was his brother.

His mother kept saying it was her fault. She tried to kill herself a multiple times. Seungmin could understand her pain, she lost one child and her husband but wasn't she being selfish? Didn't she care about her only remaining family?

It was raining outside.

"For the last time mother, stop this madness. I don't want to kill myself." Seungmin threw away the pills his mother handed to him.

"But Seungmin dear if we go together we can meet you father and your sister. Come with me." His mother pleaded.

"No, I can't do that. If you really loved me as your child try to at least show that you care. But you never do. You're so selfish, I'm sick of this." It was the first time Seungmin got angry at his mother. He ran out of the house as his mother shouted at him to stop.

He was running away as far as he could from the house.

As he was running he heard a huge commotion and men shouting from near the space tunnel entrance. And then he heard a gun shot. He ran towards the sound and crept behind a building to see what happened.

Seungmin knelt on the ground as he started to tremble in fear. It was Hyunjun, the man who killed his father. There was someone on the ground. It only took a few minutes for Seungmin to understand the situation but he was too afraid to move. He waited there until Hyunjun and his men left.

He walked to the body that was on the open ground. The rainwater around him was a deep shade of red from his blood. Seungmin crouched to see who it was, the face seemed oddly familiar.

It looked exactly like Hyunjun's.

It was Hyunjin. The person who he fell in love with years ago.

His first crush.
