Seungmin slowly opened up his eyes. He had no idea when or how he fell asleep. He could sense that Hyunjin was already awake. Seungmin slowly turned around to see Hyunjin crouching stealthily behind the huge tree root watching something in the dark.

Before Seungmin could even utter a word hyunjin quickly crashed his hand on Seungmin's mouth holding him close. Seungmin tried to hide his blush and at the same time to follow Hyunjin's gaze to see what he was so focused on.

And when he did, he wish he didn't.

It was quite dark and was hard to see but the glistening white teeth of something hideous was hovering a few feet in front of them. It made a low growl while moving around. All Seungmin could say was that it was rather huge and unarguably very dangerous.

Suddenly it lifted its head and ran lighting speed to the direction where they started their journey from. Probably picked up something in its senses.

It was only then Hyunjin let go of Seungmin almost collapsing on the floor due to fear and shock.

"What in the name of..."

"Jesus fucking Christ was THAT?" Seungmin finished the sentence for Hyunjin.

"I have no idea but I do not want to meet that thing face to face."

"Yeah no kidding."

Hyunjin sighed and got up lending Seungmin his hand to help him get up which he declined.

"Wait Seungmin did you just curse?" Hyunjin asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Get used to it I guess." Seungmin answered as he started leading the way thorough the vastly spread trees.

It's been two days of walking.

I'm starting to loose hope a little... it's been days there's no way out of this endless walking. The drug supply is almost over and there are more of those THINGS prowling around at night and it's getting dangerous, not just for me but for Seungmin too

"Hey Hyunjin..." Seungmin called.

"Yeah?"

"Isn't it kinda weird?"

"What's weird?"

"Its getting brighter by the minute, I can see everything around us so clearly."

Hyunjin squinted and looked around. He was right it was way brighter. Hyunjin didn't realize it till Seungmin mentioned it because he was exhausted and feeling slightly trippy from the drug they took.

"Wait we should turn left through... HERE!"

Seungmin navigated through rocks and stepped out. Hyunjin automatically raised his hand to cover his eyes. It was so bright.

It was bright unlike anything Hyunjin had ever seen. The luminescent lights of the city couldn't compare, it was warmer and the blinding light was welcoming.

"Hyunjin..." Hyunjin squinted trying to adjust his eyes to the new level of brightness.

"Its the sun."

Oh my god

It was the sun. Hyunjin tried looking at the huge ball or burning light above instantly regretting as his vision went blurry. Seungmin and Hyunjin both let out a laugh.

It was the sun.

It was their first time seeing it.

if only lixie was here to see...

Hyunjin sighed. Seungmin put his hand on his shoulder and squeezed it giving Hyunjin a warm smile.

"We're close it's going to be alright. I can feel it."
