Felix sat on the far edge of his glass cell watching the passing by nobles. Minho was lying on the floor in the next cell. Felix could see tears falling down from his eyes as he kept playing with his ring. There were more gamers put into see through glass cells in rows and the nobles were talking on who to bet on as they walked through aisles checking each and every game participant.

"Hyung can you hear me?" Felix leaned his head on to the glass wall separating him and Minho. Minho was the only person who Felix knew and for some reason it was somewhat a relief to have him there.

"Yes Felix I can hear you."

"What's going to happen in the games?"

"Probably going to die I guess. The first trial will probably be held after they finish placing bets."

"So it's starting in a few hours?" Minho nodded and went back to playing with his ring.

Felix looked away as the nobles came and looked at him as if he was an item displayed on a shop window.

"Is there any hope for us?" Felix rubbed his shoulders together blowing out a gust of cold air that was trapped in his lungs.

"Who knows? But I want to win this and live so I can find Jisung again." Minho said as he sighed, glaring at the nobles who stood infront of his cell for more than five seconds.

Felix lightly smiled at Minho. They really loved each other a lot. He could feel it.

I wonder if Hyunjin loves me like that?

Felix blushed by himself thinking about all those moments he had with Hyunjin. Hyunjin was the only real friend he had since he was a child. Felix was glad to have Hyunjin.

If he got out of here alive..

Felix snuggled up more to the corner of the cell putting his knees up to his chest and resting his chin on his knees.

"Hyung can't we leave? I don't like these kind of things, you know that."

"Relax its fun, just pick someone who catches your eye. I'm off to the other aisle."

Felix lifted his head up as he heard someone sigh infront of him.

It was another male. Judging from the appearance he was a noble who came here bet. The male seemed to be slightly older than Felix, clean cut features, he stood out among the other nobles walking around because of his expensive looking all black outfit. He was staring at Felix through the cell door but not in a weird way.

He just seemed stunned to see someone this young or someone this weak looking was a gamer.

He crouched on the floor infront of the cell door so he could match up to Felix's eye level.

"What's your name?" He asked with a hint of sweetness in his tone. It felt...

Felix was still scared of interacting with anyone so he decided to stay quiet. The male seemed to understand Felix's reaction as he smiled at Felix warmly.

"I have no interest in betting on a game where it forces to kill innocent people. I just wanted to know your name." He didn't break eye contact with Felix, not even once. His stare was intense but soft at the same time. It made Felix want to believe his words.

"My name is Lee Felix." His voice was barely coming out.

"Well hello Felix, My name is Seo changbin." He smiled again.

"Ooh what did you find-" another man dressed in similar looking clothes approached Changbin.

"Who is THIS cutie? He seems too weak to be a gamer..." from the looks of it it seemed to be Changbin's brother. Unlike Changbin his brother had a sly smile on his face as he eyed Felix up and down.

Changbin rolled his eyes and got up to face his brother and smirked at him.

"Place your everything on him." He said to his brother. His brother, who was stunned whipped his head towards Changbin.

"He's going to die in a few minutes from the looks of it so why even bother to waste money?" Felix looked away.

"Trust me brother he will definitely survive I can tell." Felix could hear Changbin persuading his brother.

His brother was right. As much as Felix wanted to survive he was no fighter, he was never good at it like Hyunjin. So the chances of living was low. Why bet anything on him?

"Just do it."

"Fine but if I end up loosing money you're gonna have to pay me back." His brother signed something in a paper and walked away with it.

"Why did you do that?" Felix asked turning his head back it this noble, Changbin who was again crouching infront of the cell door so Felix didn't have to look up.

"Let's just say I fell for you at first sight, Not in that sense." He chuckled. Felix still didn't understand why he did that. Changbin smiled again after seeing Felix's baffled expression.

"For some reason out of everyone I saw here, you looked like you had a reason to live and survive. I don't know what that reason is but I hope you fight for it." He slowly got up and walked out of the aisle.

Felix was speechless. Why would a noble do or even say something like that? Weren't they the people who came here to watch people get tortured to death and enjoy all that showing zero mercy?

All Gamers get ready for your first trial

An automated voice came through a speaker startling both Felix and Minho who finally came back to his senses.

Minho gave Felix a sad smile. "They do the trial so you can pass to the first level. Remember the first trial plays tricks with your brain so you have to survive. If you aren't careful you'd die so stay alert. Don't loose focus, its kill or be killed here, got it?"

Felix nodded at Minho placing a hand on the glass between them. "Good luck hyung, you're strong I'm pretty sure you'll survive."

"And you will too. Don't worry we'll both get through this. Minho ran a hand through his hair and sighed.

"But Minho hyung, how do you know so much about the games?" Felix asked minho slightly tilting his head to the side in question.

Minho let out a nervous laugh. His eyes wasn't particularly focused on anything. His hands tightened into fists.

"Before running away with Jisung, I used to be one of those bloodthirsty people who enjoyed watching this insane game of murder."

Felix's eyes widened as he realized.

Minho used to be a noble.
