Unconscious

Felix was dumbstruck.

"He's my twin, Felix I know him. He's going to ask you to wait for him and break your heart every chance he gets. All he's gonna do is apologize. That's what he always did when he left me alone with that mad woman." Hyunjun looked away in disgust.

Felix opened his mouth to protest but he stopped. He remembered how Hyunjin apologized earlier, the way he left without a word, no explanation.

Hyunjun mock laughed. "Seems like you have experience. Come on let's get you outside."

Felix followed Hyunjun to the exit. Felix tried not to look stunned when people parted away to let him and Hyunjun pass.

At the entrance Hyunjun stopped Felix. "This is my code, iScreen me if you need me. I have nothing against you." He ruffled Felix's hair and walked back inside.

Felix slowly walked back home trying to process what happened.

As he was walking through stalls looking around he saw two familiar faces in the crowd. It was the two men who tried to kidnap Jeongin, that one man was easy to recognize, he now had a mechanical arm because last time Hyunjin slashed it clean off.

Felix quickly jumped inside to a nearby shop and hid. He waited until they passed him. They didn't seem to notice him.

Felix's heart was beating fast out of fear. He used a back alley to walk back to the apartment.

He knew they wouldn't harm him because they knew he was with Hyunjin. But fear was something he couldn't control.

"Can you two make up already?" Doc walked to his table giving Hyunjin the evil eye.

"Just let me stay here for a while Doc." Hyunjin said as he plopped down on the chair next to pile or mechanical body parts, trying to balance his sword on his fingertips.

Doc walked up the door and opened it up. Must have been a customer or something. A girl who seemed to be about twenty walked behind doc carrying a bag. Maybe she was a searcher too. Hyunjin took no notice of her but he could feel her glance over at him a few times while waiting for Doc to examine the items she brought in.

Doc went into find something else and she slowly walked towards Hyunjin.

"Are you a searcher too?" Hyunjin continued to ignore her.

"I'm Yeji. What's your name?" Hyunjin looked up at the girl and smirked.

"Did I ask? Get lost." She backed up, clearly stunned by his cold response but Hyunjin didn't care.

"Go back home, Don't leave your friend alone. And you're scaring my workers." Doc entered through the door behind Hyunjin and slapped the back of his neck.

Hyunjin got up and walked to the door. Doc was right as much as he was embarrassed at what he tried to do to Felix out of jealousy he couldn't  leave Felix alone. It was dangerous.

Everything was going so well with Felix so why did he stop? He loved Felix too much he knew that. But in a way he was ashamed of himself. He had conflicts with his family, killed a good amount of ppl when he used to work for his brother, did a lot of illegal things behind Felix's back so they could find more money to live. He did all those things for Felix and he didn't want to blame Felix for it. He did all those things because he wanted to.

Hyunjin wanted Felix to find someone better than him. He knew Felix had feelings for him but he couldn't accept them. He was afraid that he'd end up hurting Felix.

Chan liked Felix he could see it, it would've been a great future for Felix instead of getting stuck with someone like him. But he loved Felix too, his emotions got to the best of him.

It was a mistake.

He walked into the apartment. He couldn't see the light in Felix's room. He was probably asleep.

Hyunjin silently walked into his room, locked the door and sat at the corner on the floor, resting his head on his knees. It was getting late.

He heard Felix gasp and wake up through the thin boards separating them. Felix was crying, it was one of those nightmares. He kept seeing nightmares of that day.

How the house burned, how his parents jumped to the void right infront of him. On other days when he heard Felix crying at night he immediately went in and comforted him, saying it was alright and everything was okay.

Today he didn't. He heard Felix crying but he didn't move an inch from where he was.

He just put his hands over his ears and pretended not to hear.

He had to give Felix reasons to let go of him.
