Our last kiss was beautiful.

It was Bea's 17th birthday, and she'd invited all of her friends to a party on the beach. We'd all just been in the sea, throwing each other around and falling over, until the water got colder and the sky got darker.

Now we were sat around the fire, singing songs, drinking fireball and various other types of alcohol, and laughing at the stupidest things because we were all getting tipsy.

I looked at her and the weirdest thing happened. I could picture my entire life with her. Marriage, kids, old age.

Her long dark hair was flowing in the breeze and she was laughing at something her friend Jenny had said, and I felt myself smiling just at the sight of her so happy. I could see the bonfire reflected in her big brown eyes, and I knew that this was probably the happiest night of my life.

"Bea?" I said, holding her hand.

"Yeah?" She said in a soft voice, turning to me and smiling, holding my hand tighter.

"You're absolutely beautiful." I whispered.

Even over all the noise, she still managed to hear me, and a slight blush creeped across her cheeks.

"You're too sweet." She said, giggling and covering her face with her hair.

I leant across and moved her hair behind her ear, cupping her cheek.

She smiled and moved closer, and our lips met.

It was gentle, but captivating, a mixture of fireball and salty ocean water. Our lips pressed together time after time, transporting us to another world. With just the two of us there, the rest of the world disappeared.

Our perfect moment was rudely interrupted by Dana from the other side of the bonfire.

"Hey lovebirds! Save that for later and pass me another drink!"

I sighed and flipped him off, Bea laughing with her arms still around my neck.

I leaned forward and pressed one last soft kiss to her cheek as she giggled again.

"I love you babe."

"I love you too honey." She said, lightly pecking my nose.
