I swallowed for a countless times. Zaimon sitted infront of while his eyes were staring at me. He look so respecful and damn hot attorney wearing his suit.

I shifted my eyes at attorney jumbao.

"A-attorney.. can we talk?" I hesitate to asked.

"We can talk now. Maari naman kayong mag usap na ni attorney de Villiere-"

I shook my head. I avoid zaimon's gaze. "J-just.. the two of us. Sa labas nalang tayo.."

He sighed and nodded. Tumayo na ako at walang habas na tinalikuran sila. My heart didn't stopped from beating so widely!

Napakagat ako sa pang ibabang labi. Bakit siya narito? Siya ba ang hahawak ng kaso?

I almost drown in my own thoughts.

Kabado akong hinarap si attorney jumbao. "W-why? You said you'll be the one who'll help me, attorney?"

He look so stunned because of my action. Nasa labas kami ng restaurant.

"I can help him in that case. Don't worry too much Ms Alvarez. Alam kong maiipanalo niya ang kaso kaysa saakin.." aniya.

Mas lalo akong naguluhan. Parang kailan lamang determenado siyang tulungan ako at ituloy ang kaso.

"B-but.. I want you to handle the case of my father attorney"

Tumaas ang dalawang kilay niya. "I'm very sorry. He's a good catch. May tiwala ako sa kaniya na mas kaya niya. In fact, he's the top 6 in the board exam. While, I'm just top 20.."

Damn! Why he's not giving me a exact and specific reason?

I frustratedly sighed.

"Do you know..each other?"

Nanlaki ang aking mata at agad na umiling. Mas lalong bumilis ang puso ko dahil sa tanong niya!

"H-hindi! Of course not. Pinag kakatiwalaan na kita Attorney, j-just.. give me a time to think. S-sana lang ay huwag mong basta basta ibigay kung kanino o ipasa ang kaso sa iba. I don't want to take a risk. Saka isa pa, like I've said. I'm worried.."

He sighed. "A'right. Just let me to have him in this case.. kung yan ang gusto mo.."

Huminga ako ng malalim habang butil-butil parin ang pawis sa noo. Maging ang bilis ng puso ay hindi matinag.

I stiffened from my seat. Hindi ako makagalaw na gayong nasa harapan ko na siya. They were now talking other stuffs but I could understand it was a work.

Lumunok ako na tila nauubusan ng tubig sa aking lalamunan.

"C-can we talk this some other time?"

Tumingin silang parehas sa akin, ngunit derekta kong iniwasan ang kaniyang mata.

Attorney jumbao nodded and smiled. "Of course.. just contact me, if you already have your decision"

Tumango ako at agad na tumayo. I once glanced at him, pero saglit lamang iyon.

"Sorry, for leaving. May kailangan kasi sa trabaho.." nahihiyang at kabado na saad ko.

I didn't laid him my eyes. Nang maakalis na ako parang may nabunot na tinik sa aking lalamunan. Nang makapasok sa loob ng sasakyan. Hindi ko mapigilang mapaisip.

Oh god, what a small world! Is he willing to help or he's just doing it for a revenge? Mamaya naman baka matalo ang kaso!
