"Who is he exactly? You're trusting some random guy you barely know? Jin come on you're smarter than this." The moment Seokjin had mentioned we would be taking in another member in our team, I immediately declined. I had trust issues with new people we let in. The last one he let in attacked our people and that day we had lost 5 of our kind.

"I know it's a risky thing. But I promise you, I trust him. And you know how I am with trusting people."

I crossed my arms, and looked him dead in the eyes, pointing my fingers in his direction.

"I swear Jin, if he ever betrays us in any way, I'm not going to kill him. I'm going to kill you instead, and you know why? Because you had let him in. So whatever happens, that's on you, you're taking that responsibility for the others safety."

There were times where I had been disappointed in my brother. This was that time.
"And that's understandable Cecile, but you have to understand. He has information about these night creatures that had been lurking for years. And you know how long we've been doing research on these things, This could be our hope to finally getting rid of them!"

Maybe he's right about this. We haven't been living peacefully ever since they've stepped foot into our city. We're losing members by the month. Trained them for years to be able to be at the same level as Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook and I. As for Jin. I don't know how strong he is, it had been a while since I had seen him fight any of our battles.

"Alright. We'll see what he has to say, if I don't feel anything right with him. I'm getting rid of him myself. " I take these situations seriously when it comes to protecting people in the clan.

"Sorry, don't mind her. She's just here to listen and observe. Try not to pay too much attention to her." I kept my tabs on this guy. His every move, every tick, whether his eyes shifted to a certain object in the room.

I cocked my head to the side. Shifting my left leg over my right knee, as my arms laid flat on the arm chairs.

"Excuse me, if I may. What did you say your name was? I don't believe I was ever informed." Intimidating this man seems to be working. I noticed the way his fingers shook, every shaky breath he took. But he kept his posture straight. Odd. He wanted to scream leadership. Dominance.

"My name is Kim Namjoon, and you? You must be the sister of Seokjin. Cecile is it? Seokjin mentioned that you are the second in command here at this sanctuary, the best of the best." This man oozes confidence, in all honesty. It is intimidating. I mimicked this man's mannerisms. Get to the same level as he is, I don't completely trust him yet.

"And, that I am. Please do not call me that. You get to call me Miss. Kim, no hard feelings, that's just the way I am with new comers." He smiled at me, but I can tell it was anything but friendly.
