"Where is he!?" Jimin kept me blocked from going up to the second floor. "Jimin I swear to God if you don't move, I'm kicking your ass. You're five seconds away from having my foot up somewhere you won't enjoy."
"I can't let you, Jin prohibited you from stepping foot on there for the time being." He was always a kiss ass.
"And since when did you listen to him? Can I not speak to my own brother? Don't forget who's second in charge. I'm not going to ask you again. Move." I demanded. He sighed then stepped away.
Once I stepped foot in his office, the vibe felt different. Not the same as before. There he sat, flipping paperwork and typing away on his device. "Jin..." He looked up, and placed his phone down.
He nodded his head towards the chair for me to sit. But I continued standing while my arms were crossed. He raised his eyebrow for a mere second before sighing.
"How did it go with Yoongi? Is he alright?"
"I don't know, you tell me?" He let out a breathy laugh. And sat up straighter. "What's that supposed to mean?" It was my turn to laugh.
"You know exactly what it means, brother. I had an interesting talk with him. He was fine hours ago, then all of the sudden he wants me to be out of his life? He also said that someone had made up a lie that I had him killed. Sound familiar? Oh wait! It does, because it came from you!"
"I told him? Cecile please, why would I make a foolish lie like that? You're my sister, I would never." Jin exclaimed.
"Then why would he say that? Nobody else knows about what happened! Only you and I! Or does Yoongi magically have the ability to remember his past? Tell me. What lie do you have concocting in your brain right now? Because I don't see how anyone else knows about it." He stayed quiet.
"Cecile, listen-"
"Listen to you? That's all I've ever done! Just tell me the fucking truth, I'm tired of being lied to."
"I'm looking you dead in the eyes. I. Did. Not. Tell. Him." I don't know why I couldn't believe him. I didn't know what to believe really. Two people are saying two different things. Deep down my heart believed Yoongi.
"Then why don't I believe you? He said it loud and clear Jin! That it came from your mouth." His jaw clenched out of anger, to keep himself from lashing out.
"Alright I did, so what? I did it to protect you!" My arms flew up in the air and I let out a exaggerated laugh. "Of course. To protect me, how should I ever thank you Jin?! Now you know damn well I don't need any protecting. That was one of your lies, now what's the other?"
"I had to make up a lie. He was going to do us harm to our kind! If the other clans knew of a human in our sanctuary, we'll be dead!"
"You could've threatened him instead of putting him against me by putting nothing but pure hatred into his head!?" I screamed at the top of my lungs, my mind was filled with nothing but hurt and betrayal.
