I sat there crying, while Taven just stood motionless staring. I put my face in my hands. Taven sat down next to me and rubbed my back trying to calm me down. I continued to cry, I couldn't calm down for some reason. Taven sighed and pulled me into a hug. I ended up crying into his shirt. I started calming down. "Thank you," I sniffled. I tried pulling away but he held on tighter. It was getting hard to breath.
Taven started talking, "Tell me what the figure looked like."
"It," I struggled to speak, "It had no face, long arms." I inhaled, "It was also tall and slender..." He let go and I fell onto the floor gasping for air. Then I stood up and looked at him angrily. "What the hell was that for!" I yelled slapping him. He swore under his breath and rubbed his cheek where I slapped him.
"I'm sorry, but I had to..." He leaned back and looked to the ceiling.
"You had to?! Why would you have to?! I was going to tell you!" I yelled and Dean burst through the door with Destiny behind him.
"What's going on?! What did you do?!" Dean grabbed Taven by his shirt and pushed him up to a wall ready to hit him.
"Dude! What's wrong with you?! I didn't do anything!" Taven barked and pushed Dean off.
"He's telling the truth Dean, He didn't do anything. I'm fine..." I said as I tugged on his shirt like a young child would. He turned to me and hugged me tightly. He let go and sat down on the bed. Destiny sat next to him and I just stood there, staring at Taven. He stared back. I started feeling dizzy all of a sudden and I collapsed to the floor holding my head. The sound came back. Soon, I feel unconscious. This time when I woke up, I was in a different room with wires and tubes connected to my arms. I sat up and started ripping them off. "What the hell are these?" I stood up and saw that I wasn't in my normal clothing. I walked around the room looking for something to change into. All I found was some baggy sweat pants and a t-shirt. I quickly got changed and looked around the room for a way out. But, the room was weird. There were no windows but a single door stood in the corner. As I walked to it, I heard that strange sound again. I couldn't turn around so I continued to the door. I opened it and walked into a large, empty hallway. Without looking behind me, I closed the door and ran down the hallway looking for a way out but all of the doors were locked.
"Carter, there's no use in running," I heard Damien yell behind me. I ran faster as the hallway in front of me stretched longer.
"You're lying! You never intended to help me! You wanted me dead!" I screamed as I continued running. I finally came to the end of the hall and opened a large door that lead to the out doors. Dean, Taven, and Destiny ran up to me and looked confused.
"What's wrong Carter?! Was it the figure?!" Taven grabbed my shoulders.
I shook my head. "No, it was Damien..."
Dean looked confused and Taven looked panicked. Destiny looked calm. "Who's Damien?" Dean questioned breaking the couple seconds of awkwardness.
"Never mind. Was there anyone in there with you?" Dean spoke. I shook my head again. "Good, we're gonna take you home, you can't stay here." I nodded in agreement and looked behind me at the door. There was a note stuck in between the door and its frame. I pulled it out. It had a picture of tiny crosses and the figure. I heard Taven swear under his breath.
"Note 6..." I mumbled. We got into Destiny's car and drove to my house. We got inside and I screamed at the sight. Dean puked behind the bushes that were next to my porch, Taven covered my eyes, and Destiny had a terrified expression on her face. "No, no, no, no... No!" I yelled at the top of my lungs and fell to the floor crying.
