Blood ran down my cheek from where that thing cut me. I stood, staring at the damned thing with its wide grin.

"If you are going to kill me, at least answer some questions for me." It hesitated but, nodded. "What would happen if you were to kill me, would I suffer?"

"Yes, your soul forever tortured," it replied.

"What if I were to kill my self with these daggers?" I asked holding up the daggers.

"You would disappear from existence, never to be born again but to float around in regrets alone."

"What is Damien?" I stared at it, as it's blank face looked back at me.

"I cannot answer that... Enough with your useless questions, I want your soul!" He licked his lips and started slashing my arms and legs with his arms. I brought my arms up to cover my face. I don't want to die.

"Stop it!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, grabbing the arms of the creature. "Stop it now!" Red tears flowed from my eyes as my grip tightened.

"W-what's going on?!" Damien stuttered in the depths of my mind. The Slenderman slowly started fading, Damien started screaming, and I grew sleepy.

"J-just stop... I can't take this anymore..." I finally drifted off into unconsciousness.

---------------------------

When I woke up, I was in the middle of a dirt path. I looked up and saw a house in the distance. It looked so familiar to me. I stood up and walked to the house. Inside, was a little girl and what I thought were her parents.

I knocked on the door and the mother answered.

"Mom?! We thought you were dead!" The girl pulled me into a hug. The boy was holding the little girl when her walked to the door.

"Mommy!" The little girl jumped into my arms and the boy hugged me tightly. That's when everything came back to me.

Everything that I had experienced happened 25 years ago. I was now married, had three wonderful children -twins, a boy and girl, and a baby girl-, and moved on from the past. The only thing that I couldn't remember, was who I was married to.

"C'mon mom! We have to show you to dad!" All three of them dragged me into the house and into the living room. I sat on the couch, the little girl sitting on my lap, refusing to let go of my neck and the girl twin sitting next to me crying.

"Please William... Last time you sai-" He stopped talking as soon as he saw me. "Carter?!"
